Renewed Or Cancelled?
The story of Catherine ‘Kitty’ Covey, younger sister of Lara Jean Covey from the popular Netflix movie series – To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was something many fans of the movie series were curious about. Netflix recently released XO, Kitty, a 10-episode spin-off series based on the life of Kitty, the youngest Covey sister.
While one-half of the internet hates the show for including way too many K-pop songs in the soundtrack of the show, the other half of the internet is loving the chemistry between the characters. If you’ve finished watching this one, you may be wondering if XO, Kitty has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know so far:
What is XO, Kitty about?
The show XO, Kitty follows Kitty’s trip to South Korea for a transfer programme. After she discovers that her late mother used to study at the Korean Independent School of Seoul. The school is also where Kitty’s long-distance boyfriend Dae studies. Kitty decides to move to South Korea for her remaining high school years and surprises Dae at school.
Things are not as fun and games for Dae because he is a scholarship student who comes from a poor family. Since his father isn’t able to afford his school fees, Dae strikes a deal with Yuri, the rich teenager his father is a chauffeur for. According to their arrangement, Dae is fake-dating Yuri for the night. However, things get messy when Kitty shows up to surprise Dae on the same night that he is supposed to fake-date Yuri.

Has XO, Kitty been renewed for Season 2?
There is some good news for fans! On June 14th, Netflix announced that XO, Kitty was renewed for a new season! In an Instagram post, the cast of Netflix’s XO, Kitty told fans that the show was coming back for a second season.
In the video, cast members, Lee Sang-heon playing Min-ho, Choi Min-young playing Dae, Kim Gina playing Yuri, Anthony Kevan playing Q (Quincy) and Anna Cathcart playing the main character, Kitty virtually passes on a note that reads “XO, Kitty is coming back for Season 2” breaking the news to fans

What we know about XO, Kitty Season 2 so far:
Not much is known about season 2 at the time of writing, given Netflix has only just officially renewed this one yet. It’s fair to assume that Kitty would be allowed to return to K.I.S.S despite the fact that she broke the rules and stayed in the boys hostel.
Since the show ended with Kitty on a flight seat beside Minho on their way to the States as he confessed his feelings for her, it is possible that the two spend the summer together and Kitty catches feelings for him. With Kitty also being confused about her feelings for Yuri, the upcoming season could focus on Kitty’s journey into rediscovering her sexuality. With Juliana returning back to K.I.S.S, there is a possibility of a love triangle between her, Yuri and Kitty in the upcoming season.
