Renewed Or Cancelled?
Sacred Games is a tantalizing and well written mystery series and it’s certainly ignited viewers around the world. If you’ve finished watching the second season, you may be wondering if this one has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know about a sequel:
What is Sacred Games about?
In season 2 of Sacred Games, Gaitonde’s story continues in flashbacks while Sartaj tries to find answers. Sartaj discovers an ashram to which his father once belonged, and learns about their apocalyptic plans to create a new, conflict-free world.

Has Sacred Games been renewed for season 3?
At the time of writing, Netflix has not renewed Sacred Games for season 3. Given how conclusive the ending is to this one, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up.
Netflix, like other streamers, tend to use a variety of different metrics to gauge whether a show is renewed, including completion rate and minutes watched. When this released, Sacred Games garnered good ratings and, we’d assume, a strong completion rate too. However, more people were mixed on this compared to the first.
The second season has a decent conclusion, although we could see a sequel to this one. We predict that Sacred Games will not be renewed for a third season.

What we know about season 3 so far:
Barely anything is known about season 3 at this point, given Netflix have not green-lit a sequel.
Should they renew this, it’s fair to assume that all of our characters will be returning, and we could well have another world-ending plot and a twisty-turny thriller full of flashbacks too.
For now, we’ll have to wait and see what will happen and if this one is renewed.
