Renewed Or Cancelled?
Thai Bls are slowly taking over the world as many viewers fall in love with the heartwarming stories and the gorgeous men. Never Let Me Go is the latest Thai Bl to come to an end and fans were elated to see Pond and Phuwin back on their screens. It has been a long time since their last project, Fish Upon The Sky aired in 2021.
Well, after finishing the whole of season 1, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Never Let Me Go About?
The series is about Nuengdiao, an heir to a mafia business. After his father’s death, he is forced to be the leader of the family business.
He gets a new bodyguard, Palm, who is supposed to protect him from the dangers in and outside school. However, they start developing romantic feelings between them which can be dangerous in the mafia world. What happens when they start having more than just a work relationship?
Has Never Let Me Go been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, Never Let Me Go has not been renewed for a second season.
And despite its network, GMMTV greenlighting sequels for popular TV shows like Dark Blue Kiss, 2gether and Gifted, there is a slim chance. For the last few years, we have majorly been getting one-season wonders.
The show perfectly wrapped up season 1 and we have no cliffhangers so it is unlikely that we will get a season 2. However, we are hopeful that we might get a special episode that might focus on Palm and Nuengdiao after Nuengdiao returns from abroad.
What we know about season 2 so far:
To be honest, the chances for a second season are slim to none. However, we might get a special episode if the executive producers at GMMTV decide to bless us further. If we do get a special episode, it would be fun to see Nuengdiao finally back from studying music abroad. Of course, Palm would have also grown his business.
In a perfect world, they would be ready to get married and what a beautiful wedding it will be if they hold it at their beach. While we are at it, we might as well get more footage of Ben (Chimmon) and Chopper (Perth) and see how their relationship is going. This will be enough to ferry us until their new show, Dangerous Romance is released.
