Heartbreak High is Netflix’s latest teen drama show. It perfectly blends important yet heavy topics with comedy and the usual teen drama to make for quite an interesting watch. We eagerly awaited the new season, and Netflix didn’t disappoint.

What is Heartbreak High Season 2 about?
This season picks up where we left off in the previous season. Season 2 takes us on Harper’s healing journey after the traumatic events from the last season. We also reunite with Amerie as she struggles to maintain her love life and school. The show shows all our favourite characters returning to give us a bit of drama.

Has Heartbreak High been renewed for season 3?
Netflix has yet to make an official statement on whether there will be a season 3, leaving us all in suspense. Based on the feedback from the fans and critics, the show is loved and just what we want to see on our TV screens.
In most cases, Netflix gauges numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Squid Game, Bridgerton & Irregulars).
This show has been highly praised by critics and viewers alike, and Netflix is likely to renew it for a third season. That said, we will keep you updated about any future developments in the series if and when Netflix makes an official announcement.
What we know about season 3 so far:
Season two ended on a cliffhanger, as we don’t know what will become of Hartley High following the fire. We are hoping that season 3 will answer some questions. We are primarily curious about whether Malakai will return. He and Amerie might have another chance. It will also be exciting to see how Missy and Spider’s relationship will persevere in the public eye. The same applies to Harper and Ant. As expected, we are still rooting for Darren and Ca$h.
We also hope season 3 will focus more on Quinni, who was left out a lot this season. Her storyline is too important to be overlooked. If we get a third season, what are you hoping to see?
