What is Flex X Cop about?
Flex X Cop tells the story of a third-generation chaebol, Jin Yi Soo. Yi Soo decides to become a police officer and use his influence to catch criminals. You might think this is admirable but Detective Lee Kang Hyun, Yi Soo’s couldn’t care less for Yi Soo’s background. However, fate has other plans as the two are forced to partner up. Will they be able to get along well enough to do the job efficiently?

Has Flex X Cop been renewed for season 2?
Good news: Flex X Cop’s second season has already been announced. Ahn Bo Hyun and Park Ji Hyun are in positive talks about a new season. Given the high ratings over the weeks, it would be a waste of great talent and a good storyline if we don’t get a second season.
The show has managed to captivate Korean and international fans and has maintained top ratings throughout its run. There is a new trend of K-dramas being renewed for a second season. Recently, Signal was renewed after eight years.
What we know about season 2 so far:
While SBS and Disney+ have not announced when we can expect season 2, we know positive talks are ongoing, and they are trying to figure out the actors’ scheduling. Given the massive talent on this show, it is expected to take a while. After finishing Season 1 on a high note, fans hope to see the romance between I-soo and Gang-hyun. Season 1 focused on them solving part of their traumatising past. In season 2, we can expect the team to handle more intriguing crime cases. There is always a case they can solve, and honestly, the show has the potential to run for many seasons!
