Renewed Or Cancelled?
While many of our original favourite Elite actors have left, the show is not slowing down anytime soon. Season 6 was supposed to be the final season but Netflix surprised fans by giving us a season 7 almost a year later. The thrill and spice factor has level upped to new heights that have fans on the edge of their seats.
Well, after watching season 7, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Elite season 7 about?
After the shocking cliffhanger in season 6 which leads to Patrick, Mencia and Ari’s departure, Elite season 7 kicks off with a new mystery. Omar returns and seems to be ready to move on following the death of his best friend, Samuel. The other students also all seem to be struggling including Isa, Nico, Rocio and Sara. It doesn’t help that no one knows what happened to Ivan except for Sara and Raul.

Has Elite been renewed for season 8?
At the time of writing, Elite has been renewed for season 8 according to Variety. Season 6 was supposed to be Elite’s final season, however, Netflix renewed it for a new season before season 7 had even aired. However, season 8 will be the last and final season now according to Netflix.
What we know about season 8 so far:
Not much is known about Elite season 8. However, we do know that production began in August 2023. We are also getting a new roster of actors such as Ane Rot of Killer Book Club fame and Nuno Gallego. However, fans will be ecstatic to learn that OG actress Mina el Hammani will finally be making a comeback as Nadia who we last saw in season 4.
We have other casting news as well – Alvaro de Juana’s Didac and Ana Bokesa’s Rocio who were first introduced in season 6 won’t be returning for season 8. Anitta’s appearance is also a one-season factor as she will only be in season 7.
