“Protocol: Rain” follows the journey of Shun Tokinoya in his journey to becoming a professional E-sports player. Shun lost his father in an accident forcing him to work at an e-sport café to support his mother and sister.
Things take a turn when the debt-burdened owner of the café requests that he and his friend join his E-sports team and win the “Xaxerion Championship” to pay off all debts.

What Happens in Episode 3 of Protocol: Rain?
Episode 3 begins with a heated encounter between Shun, Akito, and Yu right after she completes her shower. They then manage to convince her to join their team and take her over for team registration. She agrees under the condition that her identity has to be concealed.
Following that the team prepares for the tournament. Yu uses her online profile to talk to Shun and find out his opinions about her, but she is faced with the reality that Nozomi is already very close to him. The day of the tournament arrives, and the team finds out their strongest rival is Sleeping Owl and they will be facing off soon.
