Chapter 1097 continues on with Kuma’s flashback, which reveals a lot more about the past and the creation of the Revolutionary Army.
Here, we learn that Kuma and Ginny grew up and Kuma became a pastor, using his Devil Fruit powers to heal others. In doing so though, he took their pain on himself.
Elsewhere, we also see the evil King of Sorbet Kingdom and his sadism, while also delving into the backstory of the Freedom Fighters and Dragon.
