DIRECTOR – Lee Ho-jae
Lee Ho-jae is a South Korean director who has worked on several Korean films and dramas. His previous work includes his debut film, a horror movie named Forbidden Floor (2006), a crime thriller named The Scam (2009), and the science fiction film Robot, Sori (2016). Nothing Uncovered is his most recent work.
WRITER – Bae Soo-young
Bae Soo-young is a South Korean screenwriter who has worked on several dramas. Before Nothing Uncovered/Grabbed by the Collar, Bae Soo-young worked on Drama Special, a weekly show on KBS featuring a variety of short stories.
MAIN CAST
Kim Ha-neul as Seo Jung-won
Kim Ha-neul is a South Korean actress who rose to fame in the early 2000s through her work in films like My Tutor Friend (2003), Too Beautiful to Lie (2004), and My Girlfriend Is an Agent (2009). In 2011, she won several awards for her performance as a visually impaired detective in the film Blind. Her more recent works include On the Way to the Airport (2016), The Wind Blows (2019), and 18 Again (2020).
In Nothing Uncovered, Kim plays the lead role of investigative reporter Seo Jung-won. She leads a news show called ‘Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar’, through which she exposes various criminals. However, she ends up in a pickle when she becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a woman who turns out to be her husband’s mistress.
Yeon Woo-jin as Kim Tae-heon
Yeon Woo-jin is a South Korean actor who has several drama and film credits to his name. He gained recognition through his performance as the villain in Arang and the Magistrate (2012). He went on to become more popular over the years, starring in the leading roles in dramas like Divorce Lawyer in Love (2015), Introverted Boss (2017), Queen for Seven Days (2017) and Judge vs. Judge (2017).
Yeon plays the role of Detective Kim in Nothing Uncovered, who is the ace of his team and is assigned to the show’s core murder mystery. However, he’s also Seo Jung-won’s ex-boyfriend!
Jang Seung-jo as Seol Woo-jae
Jang Hyun-deok, stage name Jang Seung-jo, is a popular South Korean actor who has starred in numerous films and TV series. Some of his most notable works include Familiar Wife (2018), Encounter (2018), Chocolate (2019), The Good Detective (2020-2022), and Snowdrop (2021-2022). In Nothing Uncovered, he plays Jung-won’s husband, Seol Woo-jae. He is a second-generation chaebol as well as a famous novelist.
Jung Woong-in as Seol Pan-ho
Seol Pan-ho is an acclaimed South Korean actor who gained recognition in the late ‘90s and particularly through the MBC adult sitcom Three Friends (2000). He is notable for his roles in dramas such as Empress Ki (2013), I Can Hear Your Voice (2013), Prison Playbook (2017) and the more recent Pachinko (2022) and Netflix film Seoul Vibe (2022). He plays the chairman of Mujin Group in Nothing Uncovered, who is also Woo-jae’s father.
Yoon Je-moon as Mo Hyeong-taek
Yoon Je-moon is a well-known South Korean actor who has over 50 film credits and several TV shows to his name. Notable works include the films The Man Next Door (2010) and Dangerously Excited (2012), and dramas like The King’s Affection (2021) and Reborn Rich (2022).
He plays a former prosecutor and National Assembly member in Nothing Uncovered. Often butting heads with Jung-won for his questionable activities, we can expect him to take on a negative role in the show.
Han Chae-ah as Yu Yoon-yeong
Han Chae-ah is a South Korean actress who has starred in shows like Introverted Boss (2017), The Golden Spoon (2022) and The Secret Romantic Guesthouse (2023). She plays Yu Yoon-yeong, the director of a neuropsychiatric hospital in Nothing Uncovered. Yoon-yeong is Jung-won’s counselor and we can expect her to support the lead character in her journey.
