Ninja Kamui, the new Adult Swim Anime, is getting a lot of attention. It follows Joe Logan, also known as Higan, who used to be part of a secret ninja clan that controlled world events through assassinations. The clan had a strict code, and betrayal meant certain death.
Tired of the violence, Higan defects with his wife, starting a new life with a new identity and face. Things go well for a while, and they even have a son, but tragedy strikes when Higan’s past catches up with him. His wife and son are killed, but he survives and is now on a mission for revenge, determined to find and destroy those who took everything from him.
What Happened in Episode 5?
Episode 5 begins with Higan finding Zai, who had offered help to infiltrate Zhao City. Higan reveals Mari’s death, suspecting Yamazi’s involvement. Yamazi’s assassin suggests letting Higan in to eliminate him, giving the CEO valuable data.
Meanwhile, Mike tracks ex-Auza employee Jason, who hates Auza and helps hack their servers, discovering they’re buying fake identities, including Emma’s. They’re discovered and attacked, leading to a car chase and collision.
Yamazi unleashes skilled ninjas on Higan, who defeats them easily until cybernetic assassins brutally beat him. Surprisingly, Zai betrays Yamazi, saving Higan but allowing an assassin to kidnap him amid the chaos.
