KBS2’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Beauty and Mr. Romantic”(literal title Beauty and the Devoted) has an exciting new update today – there’s a brand new poster to look over
This new 50 episode drama looks to take over from Live Your Own Life, which is currently occupying this timeslot. According to AsianWiki, the official synopsis reads:
“Park Do-Ra (Lim Soo-Hyang) is an A-list actress, but a case causes her to fall to the bottom. Go Pil-Seung (Ji Hyun-Woo) is a rookie drama series PD. He falls in love with Park Do-Ra and he tries to bring her back to the top.”
Im Soo Hyang plays actress Park Do Ra while Ji Hyun Woo takes on the role of PD Go Pil Seung who has ambitious dreams of success. Will the pair find love together? We’ll find out next month!
The new poster has a great use of bright colours to really bring you in, while it also looks like we’ll get the usual K-drama trope of some flashbacks here to flesh out their past!
To be fair, this is all but confirmed by the production team, who remark: “The torn photo suggests at the relationship between the two that was broken for a while, and their efforts to put [the photos] together signify the pure love between the two, who try to overcome a harsh fate and protect their love.”
Beauty and Mr. Romantic could be a quiet sleeper hit this year, especially as it looks set to premiere on March 23rd at 7:55pm (KST). Stay tuned for more updates!
