With Halloween just around the corner, Paramount+ have you covered this month with the streaming premieres of Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, Scream VI, and The Burning Girls, a new horror series starring Samantha Morton that should provide a few chills as the dark nights set in.

October 1
Strip – Season 1
This documentary series follows a cast of women both onstage and backstage at some of the steamiest strip clubs on the Vegas Strip. With around 20,000 strippers working in Las Vegas, the competition is rife as these women vie to be the best in the business!
October 5
Bargain – Limited Series
Bargain is a new K-drama series that takes place at a remote hotel where people gather to buy organs on the black market. But when the latest auction is hit by an earthquake and the building collapses, the characters in this dark thriller must do what they can to survive.
October 7
Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023)
Sometimes dead is better…but it would appear nobody has heeded those famous words from Stephen King’s novel because we now have another movie that is loosely based on his dark and disturbing work.
This one is a prequel focussing on a young Jud Crandall (Jackson White) who bands together with his friends to fight an ancient evil that has gripped his hometown of Ludlow, Maine.
Henry Thomas, Samantha Mathis, and David Duchovny are among the cast of this lackluster horror that should have been left buried.
October 13
Frasier – New Series
Get ready to toss those salads and scramble those eggs because Kelsey Grammer is returning as Frasier in this revival of the popular comedy series that ended in 2004.
Here’s the official plot synopsis:
“Filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, the new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building.”
October 19
The Burning Girls – Season 1
Samantha Morton stars in this British horror series about a reverend and her daughter who arrive in the village of Chapel Croft looking for a fresh start. But as the community has a dark history where ancient superstitions and mistrust of outsiders are common, a warm welcome is far from guaranteed!
October 21
Scream VI (2023)
In this instalment of the long-running franchise, the survivors of the Ghostface killings leave Woodsboro behind and begin a new life in New York City. Will they be safe in their new surroundings? Well, the movie would be rather pointless if they were.
It’s not long before another series of killings begins as the surviving characters are once again faced with the masked murderer. Who’s beneath the mask this time?
October 28
Fellow Travelers
Jonathan Bailey and Matt Bomer star in this 8-part historical political thriller about two very different men who start a relationship just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants.”
Over the course of 4 decades, their paths cross through the Vietnam War protests of the ’60s, the drug-fuelled hedonism of the 70s, and the AIDS crisis of the ’80s, as they face obstacles in the world and in themselves.
