Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is premiering on Disney+ this month and so too is White Men Can’t Jump, a modern-day reworking of the 1992 sports movie that starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes. New fantasy show American Born Chinese is also streaming this May along with several other new TV series, including The Clearing, a psychological thriller about a woman’s battles with a sinister cult.

A Small Light (Limited Series)
First two episodes.
Inspirational true story drama about Miep Gies (Bel Powley), the woman who risked everything to save Anne Frank and her family during the Nazi Occupation in Amsterdam. Joe Cole (Gangs of London) takes on the role of Miep’s devoted husband and Liev Schreiber (Golda) stars as the father of the celebrated diarist.

Rye Lane (2023)
David Jonsson (Deep State) and Vivian Oparah (The Rebel) are Dom and Yas, two 20-somethings who connect over the course of a single day in South London and start to fall in love. We called this “a genuinely moving, laugh-out-loud romcom” in our review and can highly recommend this charming love story to you.
Ed Sheeran: The Sum Of It All
The life and career of singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran are explored in this behind-the-scenes doc that features interviews with the megastar and the people that know him best.

Star Wars Visions: Volume 2
Following on from the Emmy-nominated run of short films that were featured in the first volume comes this second instalment with 9 new shorts from animation studios from around the globe. The films in this volume come from the following international animation studios: Aardman (United Kingdom), El Guiri (Spain), Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Studio Mir (South Korea), Triggerfish (South Africa), 88 Pictures (India), Punkrobot (Chile), Studio La Cachette (France), and D’art Shtajio (Japan).
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures – Season 1
Master Yoda teaches Jedi younglings the ways of the Force in this animated series that is primarily aimed at pre-schoolers.

Disney Intertwined Live
This live show, which is based on the popular Disney+ series Intertwined, features both original songs and musical hits of the moment, including Vivir Asi (from singer Nathy Paluso) and Tacones Rojos (from music artist SebastiĂ¡n Yatra).

The Muppets Mayhem – Season 1
The Electric Mayhem Band – which includes Animal on drums, Zoot on saxophone, Lips on trumpet, Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, and Janice on vocals and lead guitar – embark on an epic musical journey to record their first-ever studio album.
Not Dead Yet – Season 1
Gina Rodriguez (Diary Of A Future President) takes on the role of Nell Serrano, a broke and newly-single self-described disaster who, after taking on a new job as an obituary writer, starts to receive life advice from the dead people that she is writing about.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023)
Kicking off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is this recent release which sees Scott, Hope, Cassie, Hank and Janet take a trip into the Quantum Realm where they come face-to-face with the mysterious Kang the Conqueror. This trippy blockbuster is darker than the previous Ant-Man movies but there’s still plenty of room for laughs as our pint-sized hero faces off against the multiplying villain.

White Men Can’t Jump (2023)
Rap superstar Jack Harlow is joined by actor Sinqua Walls (American Soul) in this remake of the 1992 movie about a pair of basketball hustlers who team up to earn some extra cash.

American Born Chinese – Season 1
Adapted from the acclaimed graphic novel of the same name, this new fantasy show tells the tale of a Chinese-American student named Jin Wang (played by Ben Yang) who unwittingly gets entangled in a battle of Chinese mythological Gods after meeting a mysterious new exchange student at his school. Michelle Yeoh, who stars as a goddess named Guanyin, reunites with her Everything Everywhere All At Once co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu in this action-packed and magical adventure series.
The Clearing – Season 1
First two episodes.
Based on the best-selling crime novel ‘In The Clearing’ by author J.P. Pomare, this psychological thriller stars Teresa Palmer (A Discovery of Witches) as a woman forced to confront nightmares of her past when she comes up against a sinister cult that is targeting children.
