Movies and Shows Coming to Apple TV+ in March 2024

When compared to other streaming services, Apple TV+ doesn’t release a great many titles on a month-by-month basis. That being said, the streamer does favour quality over quantity, so while the March schedule isn’t inundated with new releases, you might be more than satisfied with the content arriving on Apple’s platform.

Check out this month’s highlights below and then keep scrolling to take a look at some of the other titles landing on Apple TV+ in March.

Please note: The Apple TV schedule may be subject to change.

The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin – Season 1

Release Date: March 1

In this irreverent retelling of Dick Turpin’s story, Noel Fielding takes on the role of the famous highwayman as he embarks on a journey of wildly absurd adventures. Together with his band of loveable rogues, Turpin rides the highs and lows of his new endeavours while trying to escape the clutches of corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker, Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville).

Napoleon (2023)

Release Date: March 1

Ridley Scott’s epic historical drama chronicles the life of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (Joaquin Phoenix), including his relentless journey to power, and his volatile relationship with Josephine (Vanessa Kirby), his one true love.

Phoenix gives a riveting performance as the famous historical figure but as we said in our review of Napoleon, this meandering biopic “has a void that doesn’t seem to live up to some of Scott’s past epics.”

Manhunt – Limited Series

Release Date: March 15

Tobias Menzie, Hamish Linklater, and Anthony Boyle star in this conspiracy thriller following Edwin Stanton’s search for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of President Lincoln’s assassination.

Palm Royale – Limited Series

Release Date: March 20

The very talented (and very funny) Kristen Wiig takes centre stage in this new comedy series about a woman trying to break into Palm Beach high society. Set in 1969, the series asks the question: How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?

Steve! (2024)

Release Date: March 29

Steve Martin, arguably one of the greatest comedy actors still living today, is the subject of this two-part documentary from director Morgan Neville. With archival footage and glimpses into Martin’s writing process via his diaries and journals, the doc shines a spotlight on the actor’s upbringing, his years in stand-up, and the latter part of his career after he retired from stage comedy.
