My Precious is the latest Thai drama from GMMTV to grace our screens. It is actually based on the super cute Taiwanese movie You Are the Apple of My Eye which is a high school ensemble story based on a group of friends. Well, GMMTV decided to create a Thai remake that’s a movie as well as a show. We got the movie in April 2023 and was a hit among fans.
Well, we are finally getting the series version which is an expanded version of the movie and will be exploring the story further. It will also delve into the supportive characters of the group.
To start off, My Precious, the TV show version is set in 1999 and focuses on the high schooler Tong who is part of a loud friend group. Along with his friends, he tends to pull off extremely annoying pranks till the teachers have had enough of him. As punishment, he is made to sit in front of Lin, the smart girl of his class who is to make sure he always pays attention. All of his friends have a crush on her except him as she takes her job as his guide seriously.
The show stars Nanon Korapat as Tong and Film Rachanun as Lin. The ensemble cast also includes familiar faces like Ohm Paway, Chimon Wachirawit, Neo Trai, Euro Thanaset and View Benyapa.

What Happened in the Previous Episode?
In episode 4, Tong studies hard but places second in the exam while Lin is first as usual. She tells him to let go of the bet but her little sister plays him into colouring his hair pink. He is further shocked when Lin cuts her hair short despite winning the bet. He decides to study hard as it makes Lin happy.
What Happens in the Next Episode?
In the My Precious episode 5 teaser, the boys’ celebration is short-lived as they now have to study for college entrance exams. Ja-Oh asks Lin which boy will she choose finally. On the last day of school, Lin gets emotional about not seeing her friends anymore and Tong looks sad.
