Murder Mystery 2
This upcoming comedy is a sequel to Murder Mystery, the Adam Sandler movie that was released in 2019.
Sandler reprises his role as Nick Spitz in the new movie and also back for the sequel is Jennifer Aniston, who stars as Audrey, Nick’s wife.
In the first movie, Nick and Andrey were framed for the murder of an elderly billionaire but before they were locked up for the crime, they managed to find out whodunnit! Four years after their first murder case, the two are now full-time detectives struggling to get their Private Eye agency off the ground. They are invited to the wedding of their friend the Maharajah (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island, but when the groom is kidnapped for ransom, Nick and Audrey have a brand new case to solve.
Murder Mystery is one of Adam Sandler’s better movies so hopes are high that the sequel won’t be dead on arrival!

Murder Mystery 2 will be available to watch on Netflix on 31st March 2023 at 8am (GMT) / 12am (PT).
Who has directed Murder Mystery 2?
Jeremy Garelick is the director of the new movie. His previous movie credits include The Wedding Ringer and The Binge, so he’s no stranger to the world of comedy. Those movies were hardly classics of the genre but they were entertaining enough.
Garelick has two other comedy movies in the works – Sick Day and The Insane Laws – but little is known about these at present.
