Jerry Seinfeld stars in this biographical comedy-drama about warring cereal companies and their fight to be the first to create a cake that could change breakfast forever.

Jeffrey Wright stars in this Oscar-winning film about a novelist who is tired of the Black stereotypes being propagated through mainstream American literature. To prove his point that the establishment is profiting from “Black” entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes, he uses a pen name to write his own outlandish “Black” book with unexpected consequences.

The Boys In the Boat (2023)

George Clooney directs this 1930s-set story centered on the University of Washington’s rowing team, following them from their Depression-era beginnings to winning gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The movie’s old-fashioned look and feel almost works against it but this is still an inspirational story that hits all the right feel-good notes.
