Renewed Or Cancelled?
Elf Me is a 2023 Italian language Christmas themed movie about a boy named Elia who happens to befriend one of Santa’s crafter elves named Trip. The movie was released on Amazon Prime Video on November 24th. After finishing this first movie, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled. Here’s what we know:
What is Elf Me about?
Elf Me is a story about Trip, one of Santa Claus’ elves who accidentally is sent to Elia’s house as a Christmas present. Trip is a crafter elf known for his toys which bring more chaos than calm. During his time at Elia’s house, he befriends Elia, his mother and also helps his mother shop gain popularity by making magical toys.

Has Elf Me been renewed for a sequel?
At the time of writing, Elf Me has not been renewed for a sequel. Given the nature of the show’s content, that could well change if it does good numbers for Amazon Prime Video.
Generally Amazon Prime Video gauge numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate. The completion rate is one of the most important metrics though, as recently revealed with the shock cancellation of 1899.
With some shows, cancellations or renewals happen quickly (ala. Extraction) Other times, it can take months before Amazon Prime Video make a decision over a show’s future.
So far, Elf Me has had a pretty good reaction from critics and audiences alike, with many discussing the Christmas themed story and the good vs evil theme.
Given the way this movie is set up, we’re predicting that this will be renewed for a sequel. As the movie concluded, we saw that Trip went back to the North Pole, but he was keeping an eye on Elia and his friends through his special binoculars. Trip and Elia became good friends over the week they knew each other. Trip is assigned to work in a different section but he still harbours a love for making toys.

What we know about a sequel so far:
Barely anything is known about a sequel at this point, given Amazon Prime Video have not green-lit a sequel. However, if this is renewed expect the story to show another episode of Trip and Elia during the next Christmas, or perhaps one of Trip’s chaotic toys beings sent to children during the next Christmas, etc.
As mentioned above, we predict that this will be renewed but we’ll have to wait and see what happens. We’ll be sure to update this page in the future when more information is known though!
