Adapted from a novel by Alissa Nutting, Made for Love is an HBO Max Original series blending elements of science fiction and dark comedy. It follows Hazel Green Gogol (Cristin Milioti) as she attempts to free herself from a 10-year relationship with her controlling, tech billionaire husband, Byron Gogol (Billy Magnussen).
For Hazel, it’s the last straw in their relationship when Byron puts a chip in her brain that can track her and read her emotions. She goes home to seek help from her estranged father, Herb (Ray Romano), only to find herself caught between the trauma of her past and present.
