If I Can Dream

Chapter 14 of Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth begins with the Seiryu Clan rebranded as Bleach Japan. Naturally, the Colonel is killed for his efforts by Ebina, and Sawashiro is left a bloody mess in the wheelchair. Unfortunately, the place is ablaze too and he soon rings Ichiban and co (who are hiding out with the Chief) to gloat. Oh, and to let him know he has Sawashiro, baiting them into showing up.

To begin with, head up to the roof and speak to Kiryu.

When you talk to the Dragon, he’ll decide that it’s time to pass the torch, properly. He’s leaving everything for Ichiban. While he handles the past, Ichi is to take on the future. However, they’ll soon be interrupted by the Daidojo showing. It’s final fight time, but for now it’s the last supper, as everyone enjoys their last evening together.

With everything wrapped up, Ichiban and Kiryu say their goodbyes and the Hawaii crew prepare to head out while Kiryu hangs back in Japan. We’re now at the point of no return, so when you’ve wrapped everything up and you’re ready, head down to the docks.

Unfortunately, things don’t go to plan while out at sea. The group are attacked by The Meg. Well, not really, but it is a giant shark.

Boss Fight – Giant Shark

Boss Fight – Giant Shark

The Giant Shark is weak to Electricity so make sure you use that to your advantage. Whenever you gain control of any of your characters, make sure you use those moves.

As for the Shark, it uses Primeval Press, which does Water damage to all characters. It also has Selachian Shriek, which can inflict fear on your characters. If that wasn’t enough, the shark also has Apex Aggression, which increases both its agility and fighting power so be careful.

Beyond that though, just make sure you keep your party stocked up with HP, using Chitose as a healer and possibly also another character too. This shark does big damage so keep stocked up and eventually it’ll go down.

As a reward, you’ll get 75000 Experience, 67500 Job Experience, +10 Bond and $60000.

Nele Island

With Bryce’s pet defeated it’s onto Nele Island. When you show up on the beach, take out the two waves of Zealots.

After, navigate past the landmines being sure to avoid standing on them and grab 1x Safe Key. Afterwards, defeat the Zealots and head on into the tunnels. Whilst there, you’ll find 1x Lava Crystal… but if you pick it up, it’ll do damage to you so it’s up to you if you grab it!

A little further on, after defeating several waves of enemies, head down to the end of the scaffolding, past the landmine, and pick up 1x Mysterious Seaweed. There’s also 1x Divine Water on the other dock. Just by the cardboard boxes, there’s also 1x Safe Key too.

When you head back into the tunnels again, take out the enemies that show up and be sure to open the container, using a Safe Key, as it holds 1x Rainbow Hat (pictured below).

Eventually, after defeating all these waves of enemies, go through the gates… and Joongi will get hit with a landmine. He’s okay, thankfully, and after the little cutscene, proceed forward to the right to the HP cooler. Speak to the villagers and be sure to open the container to grab 1x Prima Ballerina Dress and 1x Staminan Royale.

Finally, speak to the Elder and he’ll usher you all inside a shed… where it’ll be pumped with smoke. Defeat the first wave of goons that show up, and prepare yourself for the second.

After the first lot of Zealots show up, the Palekanans will be more aggressive and come fronted by Hill, who’s a tough foe. He has some standard attacks but also uses a good deal of magic too, including Lightning Strike and Lazy Divination. However, he’s not too hard to beat.

When he goes down, you’ll gain 50000 Experience, 45000 Job Experience, +10 bond and $30000.

With Hill down, he’ll admit that Bryce is over by the Training Grounds. However, we also confirm that Wong Tou’s son is being kept in the village, safe and sound.

Before you head through to the other side, open up the safe and grab 1x Reverie Shoes. Next, interact with the gates and prepare yourself.

After defeating the first set of Zealots inside the Center, be sure to grab 1x Paralytics Poultice from the left and open the container on the right for 1x Absolute Prevention Mask. Also use the save point and HP replenisher too.

Squid

Boss Fight – Giant Squid

After fighting off the giant shark, it’s now time to fight off a Giant Squid. It’ll use its tentacles to hone in on those on the battlefield, with the first attack seeing the tentacles up in the air, and the second hitting with big attacks. When one of the tentacles swallows up a character, they’ll have to fight from inside, destroying the ink sacs while also contending with fire damage.

As for the other, it’ll deal Water damage with Aqua Blast. All this time, the bulk of Giant Squid will attack as well.

The Left Tentacle is weak to Electricity, while the right will continue to swallow you up. If you destroy the sacs inside, it’ll spit you back out.

Watch out though because Giant Squid will also use Ink Burst, spraying the entire party with black ink and dealing big damage too.

If you can get both tentacles down, you can deal more damage on the bulk. However, it’ll also use Regeneration when both tentacles are down to regrow its limbs again, so it’s a good idea to just get one down and then focus on the bulk.

When you defeat the Squid, you’ll gain 165000 Experience, 148500 Job Experience, +10 Bond and $114000

With the Squid defeated, head on up the stairs where you originally came from and save and rest up. Then, head into the water and check each of the highlighted spots.

Swim over to the other side and grab 1x Resurrection Bolus. Head along the path, push open the doors and stand on the elevator, which will take you down. Defeat the Zealots and then use the next Save point and cooler when you exit.

Finally, head all the way to the end of the corridor and press X to enter. Bryce is inside and he’s ready to fight. Just before he does though, we’ll also learn that the car that was shot up at the start of the game was directly linked to Bryce, who was the one who pulled the trigger and took the Palekana pendant for himself. He has plans to hold influence and sway over everyone, including Ebina. Unless Ichiban and co can stop him of course.

bryce

Boss Fight – Bryce

Phase 1

Before getting to Bryce, you’ll have a wave of Zealots to take out, fronted by an officer called Ramos. However, Bryce will attack from afar and use Purging Flames, which works as an Incendiary Grenade of sorts, and deals splash fire damage. However, he’ll also use Summon the Flock, where another Zealot will join the fray.

As for Ramos, he’ll use Forsaken the Flame and burn his blade which will subsequently raise his magic too. Cleansing Flame works as a shockwave of fire that’ll hit everyone in a line, while he’ll also use some standard melee strikes too.

Keep hitting Ramos with your biggest attacks and if you can, try and strike from behind for bonus damage.

Phase 2

The second phase will see Graham step up when Ramos is killed. The Elite Zealots will be tougher to fight, but they’re all weak to electric so be sure to use your hard-hitting splash damage to maximize your effectiveness. Bryce will also continue to use Gather the Flock and Purging Flame here too. Just keep nailing Graham and eventually he’ll go down.

Phase 3

Now it’s time to fight Bryce. In his starting position, try to hit a big splash damage move as his Zealot goons are quite close to him. On top of his standard attacks, Bryce will also brandish his guns and use Guns Ablaze and hit from afar. He’ll also hit Massacre as well, which is a big move and will hit you multiple times with sprays of bullets in all directions. Mercy Shot will similarly hit everyone multiple times as well.

Finally, there’s Threshing Floor, which is a combination of guns and melee strikes that will hit one of your team mulitple times.

Bryce is weak to water though, so Scrubdown is a good choice. Furthermore, try and hit from behind with Back Attacks for extra damage.

When he’s low on health, there will be a brief cutscene and then it’s just a case of taking out the final chunk of health.

In doing so, you’ll gain 106000 Experience, 95400 Job Experience, +10 Bond and $63000

With Bryce defeated, Chitose picks up the Tatara persona again and decides to oust Bryce as the crook that he is.

Not only that, she also takes responsibility for falsely spreading lies everywhere. When the broadcast ends, she thanks Ichiban and decides that she’s done running now. She’s taking ownership for everything.

Millennium Tower

Meanwhile in Tokyo, head over to Kamurocho as Kiryu and this is the point of no return. Finish what you need to do and then head on over to the tower. Defeat the two waves of Seiryu Clan members and then you’ll have another wave of members, which have a good chunk of HP each. However, they’re weak to water so use that to your advantage.

When you gain control of Kiryu, head up to the elevator and press X to go up the stairs to the next floor. There are more goons in the office, so be sure to take these out. On the table by the wall you’ll find 1x All-Purpose Remedy behind the whiteboard.

In the adjacent room, after taking out the goons in here, there’s a Safe holding 1x Street Soul Jacket. Outside this door, head under the stairs and grab 1x Fancy Sake, 1x Ultra Flashbang and 1x Lustrous Steel.

Now, climb up the stairs and into the next room. All of this will be familiar with anyone who played Like A Dragon, so there’s a touch of Deja vu here.

Continue along the linear pathway until you reach the kitchen. Inside here, be sure to save and rest up. In the enxt section are even more enemies to fight. There are two waves with the second holding a big enemy with lots of HP, Shiraishi. He’ll use lots of bladed attacks so be sure to watch out for potential Bleed damage. He will also use Scissordance, which deals Bleed damage, and also Sharp Screech, which sharpens his weapon. He’ll usually follow this up with Dismember, which deals blade damage.

Watch out for the bleed potential here and keep hitting him with your biggest attacks and he should go down. Defeating this lot will net you 20000 Experience, 18000 Job Experience, +15 Bond and 120000 yen.

Progress through the hallway and then through the double doors until you reach the kitchen.

In the next curved hallway, be sure to open the briefcase and grab 1x Toughness ZZ. There’s also a Safe here, and inside holds 1x Cabaret Queen Dress.

After all this fighting, the group will have a slight break… until they’re attacked by more goons that show up, typified by a helicopter mounted by a machine-gunner. Thankfully, Goro and the others will show up and help out, offering Support here during the next two waves of enemies.

After the next cutscene, head up the stairs and take out this next group of goons. When they’re defeated, be sure to grab 1x Deluxe Iced Coffee from the piano.

Head up the stairs, defeat the next wave of clan members and turn the corner. When the helicopter arrives, be sure to take your time moving from pillar to pillar, dodging the spray of bullets across the hallway. In the corner, be sure to grab 1x Quickness Lemon.

When you climb up the next set of stairs, kill the enemies and make sure you check in the boxes (pictured below) to find 1x Ultra Rocket Launcher. This projectile will deal 900 damage so it’s a very handy tool to have for the final fight that’s coming up!

When you turn the corner, be sure to dodge the bullets again and pick up 1x Rainbow Bagel and 1x Silver Bracelet from the little cafe stand. If you do get struck with the bullets, it’ll deal around 200 damage so be careful and tuck up on the pillar until the helicopter passes.

Progress up past this area, being sure to grab 1x First Aid Kit as you do. Just round the orner, defeat the 3 Clan Members that show up. They have a lot of health but they’re largely well-orchestrated enemies that focus almost exclusively with melee strikes. Be sure to target one at a time and then take them all down.

When they’re defeated, you’ll gain 15000 Experience, 13500 Job Experience, +15 Bond and 1200000 Yen.

Be sure to rest up and replenish your HP here, as Ebina awaits in the next room.

Boss Fight – Ebina

Boss Fight – Ebina

Phase 1

After a lengthy cutscene, it’s not time to fight off against the head of the snake. Ebina is weak to blades and electiricty so make sure you use this whenever you can. He’s also resistant to water. For that reason, Zhao is a great shout to use for the first part of this fight.

Ebina will also use Pierce the Muladhara, which will blast you backward across the ground, with the chance of inflicting sleep. He also uses Guilty Conscience too, which cancels all stat buffs on one character and enrages them. He also has Eternal Torment, which will see a flipping kick that knocks one enemy down.

When he gets down to about 50% health, Ebina will switch things up.

Phase 2

With a blade in hand, he’ll start using Sanguine High, which will replenish 1000 HP. He also uses Fall From Grace, a nasty attack that deals multiple blows does tons of damage. Try to Perfect Guard through this but be prepared to heal up right after this. Unfortunately, he also has Cripple The Manipura too, which will do a good chunk of damage and also paralyze you.

Make sure you’re rested up and at this point of the fight, try to buff your characters with extra defence. Use Nanba and Zhao as healers, while Ebina’s sword form is weak to guns and water, so try and use these attacks if you can.

Whenever you can, get some back attacks in but be mindful of Ebina’s worst attack, Maelstrom of Hate. Here, he’ll swing the sword around wildly hitting anything nearby. He’ll hit multiple foes and do a lot of damage too.

Make sure you heal up after every attack that Ebina conducts, especially those aforementioned blade specials. Dragon’s Resurgence will work really well here, as will Scrubdown and other water-based attacks.

With Ebina defeated, he’ll ask for redemption and to be killed. Instead, Kiryu will drop down and ask him to try and forgive the Yakuza and give them another chance to atone for their sins. He encourages Ebina to keep moving and not to kill them. He apologizes for what Arakawa and the others have done and collapses om top of Ebina.

Infinite Wealth Ending

Ichiban meanwhile shows up to see Eiji. Reporters are swarming outside and he’s living in squalor. Every Yakuza in the country wants Eiji’s head and he has nowhere else to run. Ichi encourages him to turn himself in as it’s the only chance he has to atone. He even asks him to go back to Hawaii too.

Ichiban promises to be there for him when he gets out and will offer him a kindness. This is a lovely way of harking back to the past and reinforcing how Ichiban was alone when he left prison all those years ago. Ichiban will help him outside, and despite the mob that wants to tear them apart, Ichiban will take all the punches and blows himself while the others watch on in shock.

Eiji will hand himself in to the police station and the pair will exchange “Bon voyage” farewells to one another. Unfortunately, someone will throw a bottle at Ichiban’s head and knock him out.

One Month later, and with Kiryu in hospital, the group reminisce on what’s happened. Zhao believes that Sawashiro was kept alive by Ebina on purpose as a sort of liferaft. He wanted to be saved and held back from inflicting the worst of his punishment. But it never happened of course.

As for Lani, she’s rebuilding the orphanage from the ground up. Tomi meanwhile, is going to give back to the community and join them too.

So where is Chitose in all this? Well, not only has she exposed the family’s misdeeds but has also become the Fujinomiya chairwoman too. And through all of this, Ichiban finally plucks up the courage to say what he needs to say to Saeko. “I’m in love with you,” Sa-chan laughs it off and is happy he’s finally spoken the truth.

And things are great… until Ichiban shows off his big shirt that says “I love Saeko” on. And Sa-chan walks away, prompting Ichi to follow.

As for Kiryu, he’s still alive but the cancer has certainly done a number on him. However, he finally embraces his name and speaks up, telling the doctor his full name.
