Kagurabachi: Chapter 23
Kagurabachi is the latest Shonen Jump offering with much potential and a decent following amongst the publisher’s fanbase. It’s fairly new having just released in late September of 2023, but offers a compelling revenge tale centered around the action and fantasy genre.
Currently, in the Sorcery and Enchanted Blade story arc, our tale follows Chihiro. He’s a young swordsmith who spends his days training under his famous swordsmith father, Kunishige. One day, a group of evil sorcerers called the Hishaku arrive, murder Kunishige, and steal his enchanted blades, leaving Chihiro to wallow in misery.
Now older and experienced, Chihiro teams up with his father’s old companion Shiba, and seeks revenge against the Hishaku.

Where Can I Read Kagurabachi?
Kagurabachi can be read at several different places online. Viz Media is available for those in the US and Canada, while Manga Plus has the right to drop new chapters. However, it will also be available to read on the Shonen Jump application.
Considering this is a fairly new series right now, no printed volumes have been released for it yet. However, we’ll be sure to update you when volumes for the series start releasing.
Kagurabachi: Chapter 23 Release Date
Kagurabachi: Chapter 23 will be released on Sunday 3rd March at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 11am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

Expect the chapter to be roughly 20-27 pages long. This is also a weekly release so expect the next chapter to drop super soon.
How Many Chapters Will Kagurabachi Have?
Since the manga’s in its early stages, it likely won’t be ending anytime soon. It’s safe to assume this one will be around for a long time. However, it depends on how popular this one remains, and what lies ahead for Chihiro and his comrades during their quest for the Hishaku and his father’s enchanted blades.
What Happened In Chapter 22?
In Kagurabachi Chapter 22, we see Hakuri and Shiba discussing Chihiro’s desires for the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade at the gang’s new refuge. Next, Char and Hinao welcome Chihiro back. Chihiro apologizes to Hinao for making her look after Char. Char wants to heal Chihiro’s arm, but Chihiro asks her to heal Hakuri’s face.
Shiba’s unsure if they should trust a Sazanami family member like Hakuri. However, Chihiro says Hakuri’s an ally since he protected him from Hiyuki’s attack. Hakuri tells Chihiro and Shiba that Kyora, the Sazanami Family’s Head, keeps the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade in their family’s storehouse. Unfortunately, Hakuri doesn’t know where the storehouse is located.
Elsewhere, we see Tafuku and Hiyuki traveling to the Kamunabi Tokyo Headquarters, which is located underneath Tokyo. The two meet with other Kamunabi officials and inform them about their mission’s results. Also, Hiyuki tells the Kamunabi officials that he plans to attend the Rakuzaichi because Chihiro will be there.
He wants to take away Chihiro’s Enchanted Blade and retrieve the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade simultaneously. The official tells him they won’t allow it. He says they plan to bid on the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade at the Rakuzaichi event. Hiyuki’s baffled by this news, but another Kamunabi member tells him to calm down.
The Kamunabi member explains why bidding on the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade is a better option for their organization to run with. Meanwhile, we cut to Kyora discussing the Rakuzaichi event and the sacred blades. After that, Kyora returns to the Sazanami Family Estate and is greeted by his family members.
He enters his room to meditate. While in his room, Kyora says the entire estate is protected by a force field that only Sazanami Family members can locate or set foot on. He says this while Chihiro and Shiba are in his room. Kyora makes some sly remarks toward the two, and Chihiro tells him to stay quiet.
Additionally, Chihiro says Kyora will answer all the questions they have regarding the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade. The chapter closes with Kyora unleashing his powers and asking Chihiro if he and Shiba will leave after they receive this information.
