What is Insidious: The Red Door about?
At the end of Insidious 2, father and son Josh and Dalton Lambert had their memories suppressed so they would forget all about the demonic dimension known as The Further.
Unfortunately, the demons of their past are set to return in this sequel so their nightmare isn’t over just yet.
Here is the official synopsis:
Set ten years after the end of Insidious 2, Josh Lambert (Patrick Wilson) heads east to drop his son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) off at an idyllic, ivy-covered university. However, Dalton’s college dream becomes a nightmare when the repressed demons of his past suddenly return to haunt them both.
When Dalton is haunted by the terrifying apparitions from The Further, the family calls upon medium Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) and her two bumbling sidekicks, Specs (Whannell) and Tucker (Angus Sampson), for help.
Will there be a happy ending for the Lambert family? All will be revealed when the movie hits its expected release date.

Who is in the Insidious: The Red Door cast?
Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins, and Andrew Foster reprise their roles as the members of the Lambert family, and series regular Lin Shaye will also be returning.
Hiam Abbass, Sinclair Daniel, Peter Dager, and Jarquez McClendon are also among the cast in undisclosed roles.
Who is the director of Insidious: The Red Door?
Patrick Wilson is stepping into the director’s chair for this upcoming movie.
In a statement quoted at Variety, he had this to say about his directorial debut:
“I’m honoured and thrilled to be at the helm of the next ‘Insidious’ instalment, which will provide an amazing chance to unpack everything the Lamberts went through a decade ago, as well as deal with the consequences of their choices…Directing the movie is both professionally and personally a full circle moment for me, and I am extremely grateful to be entrusted in continuing to tell this frightening and haunting story.
