So without further ado, here is the cast starring in Hide:

DIRECTOR – Kim Dong-hwi

It has been a while since Kim Dong-hwi has made a comeback but Hide is in good hands as he has been responsible for several iconic TV shows. His last show was The Tale of Nokdu before which he had helmed one of the biggest dramas of 2017 – Fight For My Way.

WRITER – Yoo Bo-ra

Hide has some big names attached and this goes for the screenwriter as well. Yoo Bo-ra is responsible for the show and has some popular dramas of the 2010s to her credit. She made her debut in 2012 and has gone on to write for Secret, Snowy Road, Just Between Lovers and Reflection of You.

MAIN CAST

Lee Bo-young as Na Moon-young

Lee Bo-young is a popular veteran actress who has been a fixture in the K-drama world since 2003 with titles like Queen of the Game, I Hear Your Voice, Mother and Mine. She also happens to be married to co-star and equally popular actor, Ji Sung. She has led several hit dramas right until 2020. Her most recent project was as the male lead’s mother in See You in My 19th Life in 2023.

Na Moon-young is a former prosecutor who was known to be quite a stickler for procedures before she stepped down to take care of her daughter, Bom. Technically, she is the co-CEO of Chawoong Law Firm with her husband but she doesn’t know much about the management. Her world is turned upside down and she starts relying on her neighbour, Yeon-joo once her husband goes missing.

Lee Moo-saeng as Cha Sung-jae

Lee Moo-saeng began his acting career with bit parts and supportive roles in popular projects like Homicide Sonata, Broker, Prison Playbook and Melting Me Softly. He has gone on to play pivotal roles in movies like Citizen of a Kind and shows like The Glory and Gyeongseong Creature. Just before Hide, he led the Disney+ thriller, Maestra: Strings of Truth and is also one of the leads in their upcoming drama, Blood Free.

Cha Sung-jae is one of the main leads of Hide but we are yet to be told in what capacity. He is Moon-young’s husband and comes from an extremely rich family. He takes a huge loan and seems to be doing the dirty work for Geumshin Corporation. One day, he goes missing right before an important trial and is presumed to be dead. He seems to have something going on with the defendant, Kim Yoon-sun from Geumshin but we are yet to learn if it is romantic or in a whistleblowing capacity.

Lee Chung-ah as Ha Yeon-joo

Lee Chung-ah is a Korean actress who has been acting in movies and films since the early 2000s. She led two of the biggest soap operas of that time, Everybody Cha Cha Cha and Pure Pumpkin Flower. Since then, she has done supportive and lead roles in dramas like Flower Boy Ramen Shop, Celebrity and My Dearest.

Not much is known about Ha Yeon-joo yet except for the fact that she is Moon-young’s neighbour and extremely friendly. She often makes food for Bom, Moon-young’s daughter and even picks her up from school when asked. The summary suggests she is an innocent bystander who dotes on Bom and even happens to be her teacher.

Lee Min-jae as Do Jin-woo

Lee Min-jae is a rising actor who has done supportive roles in popular shows since the 2020s. He has acted in projects like Hunted, The Golden Spoon, Cheer Up and Crash Course in Romance. He was one of the leads in Oh! Youngsim and is also part of the main ensemble of Weak Hero Class 2.

Do Jin-woo is a brash and cocky part-timer who also works for Geumshin and is close to Sung-jae. He is pivotal in the case that Sung-jae skips as he happens to be a made-up witness who would have gotten the case thrown out. He also seems to have a vested interest in Sung-jae’s case as he follows Bom and Kim Yoon-sun.
