Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange Episode 7 begins with Yuki attending the Hotel New Snysis Remembrance Memorial. Shun catches a glimpse of her interview on TV and realizes she is a survivor. Yuki sits down for the speech to remember the 140 people who passed away in the catastrophe. She recalls the firefighter who rescued her.

Shun watches the news as they narrate Yuki’s story. Yuki lost all her family members but survived the fire because she was taking a bath. She condemns the CEO of the hotel for the catastrophe. Just then, Amakasu arrives and escorts her out of the clutches of the media.

Shun realizes the intentions behind Yuki’s wallpaper and regrets his actions. He feels embarrassed about the pictures he had sent her after joining the force. Embarrassed by his actions, he runs out of his room onto the street.

Yuki sits down with the man at a restaurant and realizes he is Amakasu, Asahina’s only buddy. He claims she has caught his attention and asks if she would like to join the rescue force.

Shun realizes that he has to be bigger than her feelings about the rescue if he ever wants to be more than a blip on her radar. Yuki agrees to sign up to join the rescue force at the end of Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange Episode 7.

The Episode Review

In Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange Episode 7, we receive some context about Yuki’s past and how she lost her family in a massive fire tragedy. Trying to connect it to information we’ve been given previously, it seems like Toake chose the name Daigo because his father was responsible for causing the fire, and Toake wishes to save as many people as possible.

However, this episode could have been condensed into 10 minutes. Instead, we were left staring at static images for most of it. Nevertheless, it did add a more sentimental effect to the episode. Regardless, things seem to have taken a turn for Yuki as she’s offered an opportunity to join the rescue team.
