Psaro is cursed and is unable to harm anything with monster blood. Now, he must become a Monster Wrangler to create an army for battle.
The hunt for high-ranked monsters takes Psaro through the ever-changing seasons of Nadiria and its unique environments, with rivers of bubbling lava, mysterious ancient ruins, and soaring towers of cake. Along the way, Psaro meets the kind-hearted elf, Rose, who joins his adventure to seek out ever-stronger monsters.
The key to Psaro’s success lies with synthesis: the ability to combine two monsters and create a stronger offspring. Each new creation brings Psaro one step closer to his goal of becoming the Master of Monsterkind.”

What platforms is DragonQuest Monsters: The Dark Prince releasing on?
DragonQuest Monsters: The Dark Prince is a Nintendo Switch exclusive. The game will be available for purchase from December 1, 2023. A demo is currently available in Nintendo’s e-shop if you’d like to get a heads-up on what the game is like to play.
Is DragonQuest Monsters: The Dark Prince single-player or multiplayer?
The game can be played in single-player and multiplayer.
The multiplayer is split up into two main features: Online Battles and Quickfire Contests.
In the Online Battles, you can pit your monster armies against players from around the globe or play for fun against your registered friends. With the Quickfire Contests, you can earn rewards to build up your monsters’ stats.

Will DragonQuest Monsters: The Dark Prince have any DLC?
Three sets of DLC will go on sale to coincide with the game’s release. These are:
The Mole Hole: Delve underground to scout monsters that are difficult to synthesize.
Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym: Randomly generated dungeons that will reward you with rare items.
Treasure Trunks: Earn exciting rewards by opening mysterious treasure chests.
Each piece of DLC will give you a new outfit for Psaro to wear.

How long is DragonQuest Monsters: The Dark Prince?
The main quest will likely take you around 30 hours to complete, with extra playtime if you aim for 100% completion. This is just an estimate as there is no official word on how long the game is at the time of writing. Of course, thanks to the multiplayer modes, the game will have endless replayability.
