Branding in Seongsu – Season 1 Episode 11 Recap & Review

Episode 11

In the first scene of Branding in Seongsu Episode 11, Yu-mi finds out from one of her teammates that they had stolen the pop-up store belonging to the underground squad. Following that, Yu-mi stops by her jewellery store. However, she finds out that the crowd is actually being redirected to a different venue.

Upon arrival, Yu-mi discovers that the underground team, whose members run the pop-up store, successfully completed the project with very little funding. In her rage, she storms off to confront the man she had assigned the task of eliminating Na-eon after discovering that Jung-woo helped with the plan.

While inside Eun-ho’s body, we see that Na-eon trails behind her. Following that, we see Yu-mi getting into a car, where she hopes to see the man she assigned to take down Na-eon. Mr. Nam, on the other hand, is in it and tries to have intimate relations with her. He uses a video he filmed of Yu-mi, being the person who previously exposed Na-eon, which led to her being fired as a means to blackmail her. However, Eun-ho saves her at the last moment, to build her trust. Additionally, in order to show Yu-mi how dedicated he is to her, he volunteers to go against Na-eon’s wishes.

The following day, Chief Jae-ha visits Seongsu Agency. We learn that he didn’t have a good relationship with Na-eon, who made matters difficult for him. We also find out that he has had a lot of setbacks during his life. He takes shots at Na-eon, unaware that it’s actually Eun-ho who’s in Na-eon’s body.

We quickly learn that Jae-ha is looking for a team to manage his project. Right from the bat, Yu-mi tells him he should sign her team. However, Na-eon, who’s in Eun-ho’s body proposes that they have a proposal competition and that he pick the best team and the episode comes to a close.

The Episode Review

In episode 11, Yu-mi’s plan to sabotage the Underground team’s project fails. Nevertheless, it is clear that Na-eon is manipulating Yu-mi in order to reach her killer. In his search for a project management team, Chief Jae-ha stops by Seongsu Agency.

Even though there are still a lot of problems with the show, the plot is starting to get interesting and entertaining. The show’s supernatural plotline, which doesn’t improve the storyline, is one of the main ick factors. The plot also suffers from the use of juvenile humour. However, despite the story’s shortcomings, the actors deliver stellar performances.
