In 2023, Thai BL fans were treated to amazing content, making it a great year for them. Although some shows fell short of expectations, many others impressed us. Over the years, Thai Boy Love series have been known to challenge conservative norms and offer us some very steamy scenes. However, some shows forget the importance of a good storyline and acting. You won’t find any such shows on this list. Without further ado, here are our top love scenes from Thai BLs in 2023. Which scene left you stunned?
Bed Friend
Bed Friend gave us many amazing love scenes. From the first episode, NetJames made it clear they are serving chemistry and won’t be leaving any crumbs. We thought we had seen it all until we got to episode 6, when Uea and King left us speechless. The show perfectly captured a friend-with-benefits situationship that grows into more over time. NetJames was terrific in this one, and it is heartbreaking to think we might not see this partnership again.
Cutie Pie 2 You
ZeeNunew are known to have wild chemistry, and fans and the directors are always shocked by how much these two get into character. In the second season of the hit show Cutie Pie, these two delivered the sweetest yet emotional love scene we have ever seen.
Season 2 follows Lian and Kuea as they deal with their upcoming marriage and having different goals. After the wedding, the two consummate their marriage, with Lian lovingly submitting to Kuea. The scene trended for days, with viewers feeling like they were intruding on an intimate moment.
Only Friends
Where do we even start with this show that gave us so much stress and angst last year? It was arguably the best BL of the year. GMM 25 outdid itself and should teach lessons on how to balance sex scenes and a good storyline perfectly. We had quite a dilemma about which scene to choose but finally settled on two scenes.
Although controversial, the scene between Top and Boston was one of the best-executed sex scenes of the show. It shows the viewers how messed up Boston is and how low he will stoop to get what he wants. It also gave us a peek into the person Top was before his love for Mew challenged him to be a better man. Of course, we all felt terrible for poor Nick; he didn’t deserve such betrayal.
On the other hand, there is a scene between Ray and Sand during the camping trip. Technically, we know Ray gate-crashed the trip, but it allowed him to understand his feelings more clearly. It also made Sand realise he still wants more with Ray but won’t play second fiddle to Mew.
Naughty Babe
Domundi Boys don’t come to play, and we didn’t expect less from one of our favourite BL couples, MaxNat. While Naughty Babe’s storyline meandered a little bit, the show was hugely saved by MaxNat’s chemistry. Like Yi, we were shocked when Diao took charge of their happiness in episode 6. The love scene in this episode was stunning because it showed that they were willing to let go of the past and fight for their happiness. We also have to mention the NC scene after the two got married. What a way to mark a new start in their improved relationship!
Pit Babe
Pit Babe Pit Babe introduced many BL fans into the Omegaverse world, and it was quite the ride. Joining our other riders from Love in the Air, we have Charlie and Babe. Initially, these two had a deal to sleep together in exchange for a car and training lessons. Soon, Babe finds himself falling for Charlie, but secrets threaten to tear them apart.
What is interesting about their numerous love scenes in the show is how well they portray their feelings and help develop the story further. If they had failed to capture this perfectly, the scenes would have been cringe, and many would have never understood how things work in the Omegaverse world.
I Feel You Linger In The Air
A stormy night, beautiful music in the background, and the chemistry between Nonkul and Bright created quite a memorable love scene in I Feel You Linger in the Air. The passion between the two characters is evident as they consummate their love. We must emphasise how the music and the actors’ expressions elevated this scene. It is arguably the softest and most intimate love scene in 2023.

Step by StepIn episode 10, we all collectively gasped when Pat decided to forgo his birthday cake and eat something else instead. Soon after, the two defined their relationship and became even stronger as a couple. The chemistry between Man Trisanu and Ben took the internet by storm, and for weeks, we couldn’t forget this scene.
A Boss and a Babe
A Boss and a Babe ForceBook came back with a bang in 2023, and we loved it. A Boss and a Babe cemented this BL couple as a must-watch, and Only Friends further proved that they are versatile actors. In episode 10 of A Boss and a Babe, we see Chen and Gun affirm their love for each other by making love after a fight. This was an important scene as it showed their growth as a couple and helped them in the dreaded breakup curse of episode 11!
Wedding Plan
Wedding PlanImagine falling in love with the groom; you are supposed to help prepare for his wedding as an event planner. Nuea tried his best to hide and ignore his feelings for the dashing groom-to-be, Lom, but his heart betrayed him in the end! The first time these two slept together was beautiful but also a wake-up call for them. The scene helps Lom realise he can’t go on with the fake wedding. He needed the trigger to get the courage to be honest with himself and his feelings for Nuea. The second time showed the growth as a new couple and their excitement to finally be honest with each other.
Moonlight Chicken
Moonlight Chicken allowed us to see EarthMix as we had never seen them before. Moonlight Chicken did a great job of telling the story of two people who meet at the wrong time and try to find a way to make it work. Jim and Wen tried their best to fight their attraction to each other, but one night, it was too much to bear. The scene in episode 1 where Jim gives in to Wen’s advances starts an interesting love story that was only supposed to end as a one-night stand.

Dangerous Romance and Hidden Romance We didn’t expect GMM 25 to get daring in 2023, but we were in for a good shock. Dangerous Romance took a risk in the love scene between Sailom and Kanchan. We also didn’t see that steamy scene between Joke and Zo coming. Joke was sweet and considerate of Zo as he wanted his first time to be special.
