The three popular television networks of South Korea – SBS, MBC and KBS all have their respective award ceremonies to celebrate the shows and performances that have aired throughout the year.
After SBS, MBC will host the next award ceremony among the three networks. Popular ongoing releases this year include ongoing shows like A Good Day To Be A Dog and The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract as well as completed dramas like Joseon Attorney and Forbidden Marriage. Fans are looking forward to seeing their favourite actors being celebrated for their performance this year.

MBC Drama Awards Air Date and Time
MBC Drama Awards 2023 will air on December 30 at 8:40 pm KST / 6:40 am ET / 3:40 am PST. The event will be held at MBC Media Center Public Hall, in Seoul, South Korea.
The Red Carpet event from the show will start at 6:30 pm KST, a few hours before the event.
Where to Watch the 2023 MBC Drama Awards?
The 2023 MBC Drama Awards will be available on the television network MBC and Naver Now for residents in South Korea. The award festival can also be streamed on the platform KOCOWA+ with a membership in select regions.
International fans will also be able to watch the 2023 MBC Drama Awards on the streaming network Viki in select regions with a valid subscription on January 4, 2024. Expect the ceremony to be released on Viki with relevant English subtitles.

It has been revealed that singer and host Kim Sung-joo will host the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year. Moreover, A Good Day To Be A Dog actress Park Gyu-young will join Kim as the female host of the year-end award festival.
