Serufu joins the club and hopes to rebuild it from the ground up to repair her relationship with Purin. As she recruits new members, Serufu learns how to build something grander than simple knickknacks. Like Hitoribocchi no Marumaruseikatsu, Do It Yourself features down-to-earth and relatable characters who face real problems and struggles.

Serufu will struggle to balance her passion for DIY projects and school tasks. Similarly, Bocchi struggles to overcome her social anxiety and make friends.
