It’s about three childhood friends who hire a struggling actor to pretend to be their imaginary friend so they can dodge getting in trouble with their wives for missing a big day. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising (2016)

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is a hilarious movie about Mac and Kelly Radner, who have to deal with a new sorority, Kappa Nu, moving in next door. The leader of the sorority is Shelby, and she starts it because she no longer wants to follow the strict rules of regular sororities.

At first, Mac and Kelly try to be cool and get along with the sorority to avoid any problems, but things start to get out of control because of regular parties and things the sorority does. Like Ricky Stanicky, this film is about friendship, growing up, and also the funny side of being a grown-up.


Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016)

Believe it or not, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates draws from real-life events. In the film, two brothers, Mike and Dave Stangle, want dates for their sister’s wedding in Hawaii. They put up an ad online to find nice, normal girls to take with them, but they end up picking Tatiana and Alice.

They look innocent at first, but deep down, they are wild and unpredictable. As the wedding nears, Tatiana and Alice cause all sorts of problems, putting the wedding and the brothers’ reputations at risk. Like Ricky Stanicky, Mike and Dave, too, get a happy ending.


The Change-Up (2011)

In The Change-Up, the titular characters, Dave and Mitch, are jealous of each other and wish they could swap places, even if it is for a day. For context, Dave has a great job and a great family, while Mitch is a lazy, single guy who has no job.

One crazy night, they pee in a fountain and wish they could switch lives, and the next morning, they wake up in each other’s bodies. Now, they have to figure out how to live in their new roles. They also face all kinds of funny and awkward situations along the way. At the same time, their wives also treat themselves with their hall pass.


Blockers (2018)

You know the film is going to be great when you see the Great John Cena in it. In Blockers, he plays the role of one of the parents who finds out that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginity on prom night.

He immediately freaks out and goes on a crazy mission to stop them. While doing that, they run into many funny, embarrassing, and awkward moments. Fortunately, in the end, the parents learn to trust their daughters and realize they’re never going to let them down. 


The Three Stooges (2012)

The Three Stooges is about Moe, Larry, and Curly, the famous slapstick trio. They’re trying to save their old orphanage from closing down. They try to raise money by doing everything they can, like literally farming fish or going on a reality show.

Not just that, they become involved in a murder plot and also crash a big party thrown by one of their old friends. They try their best, but everything they do to save the orphanage ends up in chaos and laughter.


Vacation Friends (2021)

In Vacation Friends, the focal characters are Marcus and Emily, who meet another couple, Ron and Kyla, on vacation in Mexico. Marcus and Emily are reserved and introverts, but Ron and Kyla are their polar opposite and live their life to the fullest.

They become friends, but Marcus and Emily have a hard time understanding Ron and Kyla’s wild ways. Things turn interesting when Ron and Kyla show up at Marcus and Emily’s wedding and try to crash it.


The Greatest Beer Run Ever (2022)

In this film, the protagonist, Chickie, suddenly makes up his mind to go to Vietnam during the war to deliver beer to his friends fighting there. Chickie sneaks into the war zone with a bag full of Pabst Blue Ribbon and finds his friend Tommy, who happens to be a military policeman.

Some think Chickie is dangerous, and while others call him a spy, Chickie keeps on delivering the beers in the war-torn land to remind his friends of their family back home. The Greatest Beer Run Ever is inspiring, funny, and well worth a watch.


The Hangover

The Hangover (2009)

In The Hangover, Doug, Phil, Stu, and Alan go to Las Vegas for a bachelor party. They party hard and wake up the next day with a messed-up hotel room, no memory of the night before, Doug missing, wild tattoos, and a tiger in their bedroom.

The three guys left behind look for Doug and try to piece out what exactly happened last night. It’s not easy, and they also run into gangsters, strippers, and even Mike Tyson, the man whose tiger is in their bathroom.


Weekend at Bernie’s (1989)

Larry and Richard work at a company and there they find some money problems. So, they tell their boss, Bernie, about it, but they don’t know that he’s the one behind it all.

Bernie invites them to his beach house for the weekend, where he plans to murder them, but before he can do anything,  some mob guys off Bernie. Larry and Richard show up at the beach house and find Bernie dead. The rest of the film sees them lying to their teeth to avoid getting in trouble while having a good time.
