Of course for all the movies we’ve reviewed, we’ve also added a handy link so you can check out our full thoughts on that and see if it’s something you want to invest your time with.

So without further ado, we present 10 movies to check out when you’ve finished watching Red Notice.

Ocean’s Eleven

Although you could easily pick the original Ocean’s 11 from the 60’s, the updated 2002 version is every bit as enjoyable and arguably more stylish.

For those unaware, Ocean’s Eleven is a classic heist movie, fronted by a man named Danny Ocean. He wants to score the biggest heist in history, combining an eleven member team which includes prolific names like Frank Catton, Rusty Ryan and Linus Caldwell.

Their targets happen to be three different Las Vegas casinos which they intend to rob at exactly the same time. With a cool $150 million on the line, this thrilling ensemble delivers an enthralling watch that’s well worth checking out.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Smith isn’t a particularly challenging movie. It’s basically a popcorn-munching summer blockbuster, with enough action and drama to keep you watching until the end.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie play the roles of a bored married couple who are both hired by competing assassin agencies to kill each other. It’s an interesting concept and one that this movie absolutely milks to its core.

This is a proper guilty pleasure and if you’re in the mood to switch your brain off and watch a big, loud action flick, this one’s certainly worth a watch.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a simple but effective movie, one that plays on a very basic concept but executes it brilliantly.

In its simplest form, the story centers on two con-men who try to settle their rivalry by betting on who can swindle an American heiress out of $50,000. Of course, that’s easier said than done.

With a plot full of predictable twists and good laughs, the real gem here comes from the chemistry between its three leads. Steve Martin, Michael Caine and Glenn Headley are on top form and easily help this movie stand out.

Central Intelligence

Despite what its title may imply, Central Intelligence is not a smart movie. Instead, it revels in the goofy silliness of its comedy across the run-time.

The story follows Calvin who shows up at his high school reunion to find Bob, once overweight and humiliated, now muscly and more confident than ever before. With Bob stuck in a rut, Calvin whisks him up for a journey into espionage, action and the imminent threat of death at every turn.

The real gem here though comes from the themes around the psychological impact of bullying, but the main draw here is the great chemistry between Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard

The Hitman’s Bodyguard is another comedic action flick with Ryan Reynolds in the driving seat.

The story revolves around elite London bodyguard Michael Bryce who loses his status at the top and is reduced to working as a second-class bodyguard for hire. Two years pass and Bryce, desperate to prove his worth, accepts an offer to escort international assassin Darius Kincaid from Manchester to Hague.

Of course, everything that could go wrong does go wrong, setting up a dramatic, action-packed plot to ensue. Across the run-time both Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson shine, with plenty to like about this dynamic duo.

The Thomas Crown Affair (1968)

The story follows millionaire businessman-sportsman Thomas Crown as he accomplishes a perfect crime. He organizes four men to steal $2,660,527.62 from a Boston bank, with a fifth man waiting in the wings to drive a getaway car.

It’s your classic cat and mouse story, with Thomas Crown soon meeting his match with a sexy insurance investigator who will do anything to catch him.

Very stylish and propped up with a great rapport between its two leads, The Thomas Crown Affair is another movie worth checking out.

National Treasure

National Treasure is a typical cat and mouse adventure, one that essentially feels like a mash-up of Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones – and it works surprisingly well!

The story centers on Benjamin Franklin Gates, a treasure hunter who learns about a national treasure from his grandfather. The treasure is stashed somewhere in the US and the clues leading to the treasure chest is cyphered and scattered all over the country.

There are the usual twists and turns along the way but National Treasure does a pretty decent job delivering a fun adventure for the whole family.

Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise is a proper summer blockbuster. It’s cheesy, packed full of slapstick and puns which are wrapped around enough action to fulfil the quota for a family adventure.

At the center of this romp sits Dr Lily Houghton and her brother Macgregor. Together, they enlist the talents of wisecracking, pun-making skipper Frank Wolff to locate an ancient tree. There’s a prophecy around this allegedly claiming that it has the power to heal. If true, this could change the future of medicine forever.

So off the gang go, cruising down the river to find this ancient treasure. However, it soon becomes clear that they’re not alone in this pursuit.

While the villain is a little bland, the movie packs a punch with its wit and comedy, making it a fun-packed must-watch.

Deadpool

Okay so Deadpool isn’t exactly like Red Notice but when it comes to the comedy, this film does bear a lot of similarities.

For those unaware, Deadpool centers on a wisecracking mercenary named Wade who’s experimented on to become immortal. The only downside is he winds up incredibly ugly and disfigured in the process. Off the back of this, Wade sets out to track down the man responsible for ruining his looks.

Chock full of fourth wall breaks and some clever gags that take numerous jabs at the superhero genre, Deadpool is a wonderfully funny movie and a must-watch for sure.

Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark

Raiders of the Lost Ark is arguably the best Indiana Jones movie and the plot here takes place deep in the heart of 1936.

Venturing out into the jungles, the opening to Lost Ark is one of the best in any mainstream movie. After an exhilarating chase sequence, Jones catches wind of a biblical artifact known as The Ark of the Covenant. This inevitably sends Indie off galivanting across the globe from Nepal to Egypt on the hunt for this prize. The only trouble is, a band of Nazis are also on the hunt too.

Well written, beautifully paced and undeniably timeless, Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the quintessential adventure movies.
