Will Trent is the latest police procedural crime drama from ABC based on Karin Slaughter’s bestselling books, the Will Trent series.
The series follows a Special Agent in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Will Trent. He comes from a rough childhood, and he is dyslexic. Despite all these, his great observation skills have enabled him to rise in the ranks and be the GBI agent with the highest clearance rate. Season 2 ended with Trent choosing his duty as a cop over Angie.
Fans are also excited to see Gina Rodriguez on the show. She will be portraying the role of Marian Alba, ADA, assistant district attorney. The show producers also teased a new love interest and an intense storyline filled with angst.
