What did Keith Hall do?
Keith Hall was accused of murdering his wife Patricia after a heated argument in Leeds, England, in January 1992. Neighbours of the couple heard arguing and later saw Keith Hall drive off in the family car in the middle of the night.
Patricia Hall has not been seen since. No body has ever been recovered, and her passport and bank account have been left untouched, with her car found abandoned just a mile from her home in Pudsey, Leeds.
An investigation into her disappearance came up with nothing despite extensive searches of woodland and rivers. Keith Hall soon emerged as a suspect after police set up an infamous honeytrap to snare him into confessing to the murder. An undercover policewoman contacted him through a Lonely Hearts advert and quickly gained his trust. So much so, that Hall told her he strangled his wife and burned her body in an incinerator, leading to him being arrested and charged with murder.
What happened during the trial?
The case went to trial at Leeds Crown Court, but a jury found him not guilty after the judge in the case ruled that his confession which was recorded on tape was inadmissible. His defence team also claimed their client was tricked into confessing. Hall claimed his wife had left on her own accord, but relatives are convinced she is dead and Hall murdered her. Patricia was a mum of two children but never made contact with her sons or any of her three siblings, which was totally out of character. Hall claims she left him after the argument in the middle of the night, taking the family car.
Where is Keith Hall now?
Keith Hall spent the intervening years focusing on raising his sons, Andrew and Graeme, and drifting in and out of various jobs. In 2011, he was working as a bread delivery man and was jailed for 4 years for attacking his former neighbour with a brick. He has maintained his innocence over any involvement in Patricia’s disappearance, but this hasn’t stopped suspicions about him. He is 68 years old now.
A two-part documentary called The Confession was released on Amazon Prime in 2022 and features interviews with Keith Hall and other people involved in the case.

Very good actor hiding his sociopathy. Plus who tells someone they wanted to marry that murdered last wife even “anything to keep her” utter bollocks. GOT away with murder and now making money off it.sick
Guilty without a shadow of a doubt
Keith Hall is guilty.
He is evil. If any remorse in him then tell Pats family the truth so they can put her to rest.
The Police fell into their own honeytrap, and perhaps, just perhaps, a guilty man slipped through the net to freedom.
Whoever sanctioned the taped interviews didn’t think it through, and they came across as unprofessional in the programme.
“I strangled Patricia and put her in an incinerator” says no innocent man ever.
It was a legitimate, taped confession to an undercover officer, something entered as evidence every day in courts.
He should be in prison for life.
In general population.
Accused of murdering his wife (evidence of confessional tape), not being punished and whining about how it’s destroyed his life…wake up people. WHEN? Will it be about the VICTIM??
Just watched The Confession. He murdered her and is a narcissist. It’s all about him.
