What happened to Alexis Sharkey?

Alexis Sharkey was a 26-year-old American social media influencer who was last seen alive around 6 p.m. on the 27th of November 2020. The following day, her naked body was found near her home. She died of strangulation.

Sharkey was last seen alive by her husband, Thomas Sharkey, who claimed she just left him without explaining where she was going. Alexis Sharkey stopped responding to messages and calls, and her online presence became nonexistent, raising fears for her safety.

On the 28th of November, Tom told family members that she was missing and thanked her Instagram followers for their help during the investigation. Her body was discovered in bushes on the 1000 block of Red Haw Lane in the Houston Energy Corridor in Harris County.

What happened during the investigation?

Two weeks after the murder, Tom left Texas after failing to make funeral arrangements for Alexis. Alexis’s devastated mother took over and a private funeral was held on the 19th of December. On the 19th of January 2021, the medical examiner’s report determined that Sharkey’s death was a homicide and the cause of death was strangulation.

Police made many attempts to contact Tom to bring him in for questioning, and he finally agreed to meet them in early August 2021 to submit a DNA sample but failed to honour this promise.

What happened to Thomas Sharkey?

On the 29th of September, police obtained a warrant for Tom Sharkey’s arrest, and later stated he was the only person who had the means, motive, and opportunity to kill Alexis.

On the 5th of October, police learned Tom was staying with his daughter and her partner in Fort Myers, Florida. The following day, Tom found out about the impending arrest and killed himself by shooting himself in the head. It was later revealed that there had been a history of domestic violence between him and Alexis.

TikTok: Murder Gone Viral Season 1 Episode 3 focused on the story of Sharkey’s murder and was released on ITV1 on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024.

  1. A documentary named- Murder Gone Viral- when a warrant in secret was required is astonishing. The DNA for the spouse was excluded from what was found on Alexis- his family was informed June 2022. How could the spouse be the last one with her or responsible? Her autopsy has translucent flakes, abrasions and hair- he was blad. Alexis claimed Devin had the “Marfa Meltown”. Wonder if it looked like her on air meltdown S: HLN Facebook. The “Created Content” all belongs to those “Behind the Ballyhoo” or MLM that “Heavily Influenced” the media, masses and then the mother. The mother called in a health and welfare and jumped on the media and later claimed to be shocked- but, she called in a health and welfare (Records Denied). The spouse was being harrassessed- by design from the allegations on Nov 30, 2020. HPD was aware of the harrassment and situation and decided not to honor his families request for a Press Release- they were left to fend for themselves after being stalked for entertainment purposes over continued false allegations. Wonder no more why his family has been silent- Alexis was the priority and the spouse wanted to let it all play out. The documentary is the “Plot Twist”- They should be aware by now- or Ally would not be concerned and following this account. (Remembering Alexis Sharkey FB page where she is a new member recently). Damage control to see what his family put out-or waiting for reviews?

Spoiler- the friends “Created Content” and that is where all the proof is with the social media mess they created. They were sucessful in controlling at least 2 of 4 Facebook platforms to spread false information and accusations. The “Slitherhood-7” used Alexis and her investigation for self gain and deflection.
Who killed Alexis and where is the “Mountain of Evidence” in 2024 -if the spouse was responsible.
