We Outspoken is a band which doesn’t care about glitz and glamour or the prize at the end of the rose-tinted road. The act serves up punk wrapped in emotion, and they do not stand down at any moment even when the world weighs them down, and love crushes them. Their music has all the elements, all the techniques that hold them in good stead.  

The band has nothing to lose, with a no-nonsense approach to life, and music that has purpose and no restraint. Hopeful in their strides, the outfit walks the line and take notes of their experiences, fully equipping themselves for war.  

‘Slow It Down’ shows character and is the opening track. The band has engineered well-crafted guitar lines that are punk-infused. The story tells us that the band is heading downwards and are broken.  

‘No Way Out’ starts with a commanding riff and the band throws down their pride. It is punk personified, and the range is perfect. It is no-nonsense music which has the power to alter the mind.  

‘Day And Night’ opens with a powerful drumbeat and a simple but effective riff. The band shows their scars, their downward spiral, their cuts and their state of mania. Someone holds them in a shackle.  

‘Take Me Back’ begins slowly and those chords are pristine. The band is in transition, and they’re trying to break a habit. It’s a sobering song.  

We Outspoken proves their worth here, and the music has the chance to bloom, even under the weight of despair.
