WarioWare: Move It
It appears WarioWare: Get It Together won’t be the only WarioWare game coming to the Nintendo Switch system.
Gameplay-wise, fans should enter this game expecting more of the same with over 200 new microgames thrown in for good measure. In it, Wario and his friends travel to an exotic island for vacation purposes. There, they’ll encounter strange Form Stones and ancient guardians who’ll make their time on the island bizarre and fun.
Although this game will be familiar to most WarioWare enthusiasts, it introduces some interesting motion-based gameplay for players to dabble into, akin to WarioWare: Smooth Moves on the Nintendo Wii. In Move It! you’ll use the Nintendo Switch’s joy-cons to nail a perfect pose or movement required for each microgame.
From chopping bamboo to laying an egg, you must act quickly if you hope to complete the game’s challenges. The game includes some interesting modes called Party Mode (where you can play with friends) and an enticing Story Mode for those who want to see what Wario and his friends are up to.

Wario and the gang are at it again with over 200 lightning-fast microgames! True to its name, the WarioWare™: Move It! game is all movement: you’ll hold two Joy-Con™ controllers and move your body in different ways to accomplish important tasks. (Well, if you consider “sheep twirling” or “treasure guarding” important tasks … which we do, obviously).
A friend can join you with local co-op*, and there’s also a local multiplayer mode for up to four players*.
If you’re looking forward to this upcoming game, you’ll be glad to know that you don’t have long to wait before its expected release date.
What platform is WarioWare: Move It! releasing on?
WarioWare is a first-party Nintendo title so will only be available on the Nintendo Switch. It will launch on November 3rd, 2023. This is great for those wanting to pick up a quirky game to prepare for the festive Thanksgiving holiday occurring later in the month.
Is WarioWare: Move It! single-player or multiplayer?
The game can be played in single-player and local multiplayer.
The multiplayer modes include:
Story Mode: You can play through this tale with a second player by handing them a set of Joy-cons.
Party Mode: Play with up to four players in specific microgames that’ll test your movement skills by providing you with funny scenarios.
Will there be any DLC?
No downloadable content has been announced. Considering previous games like WarioWare: Gold or Get It Together didn’t receive any DLC, it’s likely this one might not get it either. However, there’s always a chance Nintendo can announce DLC for it down the pipeline.
How long is WarioWare: Move It!?
We don’t know how long it will take to complete WarioWare: Move It! at this stage. However, since the WarioWare: Get It Together took 2 1/2 hours to finish on a normal run (or 29 hours with 100% completion), we expect the new game will be similar in length.
