Notable names in the cast include Yoo In-na, who is playing the lead in a romantic drama. The magnificent Kim Tae-ri is taking on a part that is the complete opposite of her charming role in Twenty-Five Twenty-One. You’ll see a whole different side to her! Plot: Debt forces two feisty young boxers into the murky world of loan sharks. Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi play the dynamic due, capable of fighting off 30 people at one go. But they end up entangled amongst dangerous people and power struggles bigger than ever before. This is an action thriller through and through and will have 8 heart-pumping episodes.


King The Land

Release Date: 17th June

Lead Cast: Lee Jun-ho, Im Yoon-ah

Network: JTBC as well as Netflix and TVING in certain regions

Plot: This romantic drama brings two unlikely characters together. A chaebol heir stuck in an inheritance war over a chain of luxury hotels, who cannot stand fake smiles, and a woman working in a hotel, whose entire job consists of smiling all the time. Episodes of this drama will release on every Saturday and Sunday.


See You In My 19th Life

Release Date: 17th June

Lead Cast: Shin Hye-sun, Ahn Bo-hyun

Network: tvN and Netflix in certain regions

Plot: This fantasy series follows the story of a woman who consistently gets reincarnated into new lives. And what’s more, she can remember every single one. During her 19th life, she decides to look for people from her past life, including a man who could be a part of her destiny.


Lies Hidden in My Garden

Release Date: 19th June

Lead Cast: Kim Tae-hee, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Choi Jae-rim

Network: ENA and Genie TV

Plot: A suspense thriller about family life, Lies Hidden in My Garden follows the lives of two women — a housewife with a perfect family and a pregnant woman who is the victim of domestic abuse. They’re from wildly different worlds but end up crossing paths due to a suspicious smell coming from one of their backyards. Episodes of this show will release every Monday and Tuesday.


Revenant

Release Date: 23rd June

Lead Cast: Kim Tae-ri, Oh Jung-se, Hong Kyung

Network: SBS

Plot:Kingdom (2019) writer Kim Eun-hee is penning a new mystery drama and this time the spotlight is on ghosts and demons. Kim Tae-ri will play Ku San-young, a young girl working to become a public officer who ends up getting possessed by a ghost. She crosses paths with Yeom Hae-sang, a folklore professor played by Oh Jung-se. With Hae-sang’s ability to see demons and ghosts, the two of them set about solving a string of mysterious deaths. You can watch new episodes of this show every Friday and Saturday.


Heartbeat

Release Date: 26th June

Lead Cast: Ok Taec-yeon, Won Ji-an, Park Kang-hyun, Yoon So-hee

Network: KBS2

Plot: The charismatic Ok Taec-yeon is back, this time as a half-human half-vampire hybrid. He ends up being forced to live in the same house as a cold-mannered woman, who works as a nurse at a high school. Will her cold heart warm up to him? This romantic comedy will air every Monday and Tuesday.


Celebrity

Release Date: 30th June

Lead Cast:  Park Gyu-young, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Chung-ah, Lee Dong-gun and Jun Hyo-seong

Network: Netflix

Plot: As suggested by the title, this series dives into the world of celebrities and social media influencers. Following the life of an influencer named Seo A-ri, the story unravels the dark side of this industry. The cost of fame and money is revealed when a mysterious livestream from Seo A-ri comes online — a pre-recorded video claiming she’s already dead.


Numbers

Lead Cast: Kim Myung-soo, Choi Jin-hyuk, Choi Min-soo, Yeonwoo

Network: MBC TV

Plot: This workplace drama revolves around a clever high school graduate who joins an accounting firm. Certain incidents then lead him to begin a fight for justice. The series will look at several characters in the firm, following their workplace problems as well as their personal lives. The 12-episode drama is set to begin airing sometime in June but the exact release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
