New month, new K-dramas! South Korea’s entertainment industry continues to be on fire, releasing addictive TV shows one after the other. This month’s roster has an office romance, a murder mystery and two different types of chaebol dramas!

While the overall list of dramas may seem a little short, there is plenty to look forward to in terms of powerhouse performances. Park Solomon, of the famed All of Us Are Dead, will be seen playing a very different role from the one that catapulted him to the spotlight. Acclaimed actor Choi Woo-shik is making his comeback to the small screen after Our Beloved Summer. And another name to watch out for this month is Lee Jae-wook!

So, dive right in. Here are the Korean dramas releasing in February 2024!

Branding in Seongsu

Release Date: 5th February

Plot: Set in a company’s marketing team, this office romance will follow the lives of team leader Kang Na-eon and newly hired intern So Eun-ho. Eun-ho’s optimistic and carefree attitude brings him to clash with his new boss, who is a steadfast workaholic. So what happens when they share a kiss and end up swapping souls?

A Killer Paradox

Release Date: 9th February

Lead Cast: Choi Woo-shik, Son Seok-koo, Lee Hee-joon

Network: Netflix

Plot: The Strangers from Hell director has come up with yet another fascinating thriller revolving around murder. Choi Woo-shik will take on the role of Lee Rang, a college student who unintentionally kills a person who turns out to be a serial killer. When he realises that he has the power to identify bad people he begins to root them all out. But soon a determined detective begins to close in on his trail. All 8 episodes of this drama should drop at once, so get ready for a weekend binge!

Wedding Impossible

Release Date: 26th February

Lead Cast: Moon Sang-min, Jeong Jong-seo, Kim Do-wan and Bae Yoon-kyung

Network: tvN

Plot: Based on a manhwa of the same name, this drama revolves around a fake marriage proposal between two friends. One is Oh Da-jung, an actress who is struggling to make her career take off. The other is Koo Chan-yeol, a chaebol heir who is being pressured to get married but doesn’t want to, since he’s gay. The fake wedding is the perfect solution. However, Chan-yeol’s brother Jung-yeol decides to do everything he can to stop the marriage from taking place. Can Da-jung win him over?

Royal Loader / The Impossible Heir

Release Date: Exact date TBA

Lead Cast: Lee Jae-wook, Lee Jun-young and Hong Su-zu

Network: Disney+

Plot: Kang In-ha believes his life of poverty is over when he finds out he is the illegitimate son of the chairman of the powerful Kang Oh Group. However, his newfound family shuns him and In-ha joins hands with his childhood friend Tae-ho and makes a plan to take over the company anyway. They soon find their road blocked by an ambitious woman with a troubled past of her own.
