South Asian culture has seen a boost in mass interest in TV Shows and Movies coming from different Asian countries, especially South Korea, Japan and China. Chinese dramas, also known as C-dramas, are gaining a lot of attention online, all thanks to their longer number of episodes and fantastical elements.

With a comparatively limited number of shows releasing in C-drama releases this month, here is a tentative list of all Chinese dramas that will be released throughout September of 2023.

Sunshine by My Side

Plot: Jian Bing, a well-known advertising director, and Sheng Yang, a newcomer in the industry, randomly cross paths inside a restaurant one day. These two strangers eventually develop a bond and begin embarking on a journey of sublime growth and budding romance.

Luo Ying Wei is not one to give up as she chooses to fight back using legal means.

West Out of the Yu Men

When Ye Liu Xi, who had no memory of her past, shows up with photos that contain clues about the accident, they decided to team up to go to the desert and find out the truth.

The Emperor’s Love

Plot: The show narrates a love story revolving around the mysterious and unpredictable God of War of the North Mu Kingdom, Zhan Qing Cheng and the daughter of the Feng family, Feng Qing Huan.

The Furthest Distance

Plot: The show narrates the story of Qin Yun Sheng, an emergency doctor who has a house that needs to be renovated and Su Ying is a focused interior designer. They meet because of their participation in a house renovation reality TV show.

As they get to know one another, Su Ying gradually opens her once-closed heart to Qin Yun Sheng, only to find out that he still misses his girlfriend who has passed away. In order to bridge the seemingly farthest distance between them, Su Ying takes the initiative to fight for Qin Yun Sheng with a love that just might be strong enough to heal them both.

The Scent of Time

Plot: A hard-working young woman in the new era wakes up and finds that she has transmigrated into a novel she stayed up reading all night. Special Lady

Plot: The show mainly tells the hilarious and sweet story of Song Zhu, the third lady of the Song family, who rebels against an arranged marriage and pursues true love and Xiao Yu, the young master who hides his identity and is here to study. The pair come to grow up together. Special Lady narrates how their relationship grows from hate to love over time.
