Now as we are in the third month of 2023, there are a good number of Korean BL dramas that fans are eagerly waiting for. One such show is the webtoon-based drama, Unintentional Love Story. Based on the webtoon – Biuidojeog Yeonaedam, this K-drama follows the life of two adults who had no business falling in love.
Unintentional Love Story stars actor Cha Seo-woon as the main lead who was previously seen on shows like Second Husband and Miss Lee as well as the variety show, I Live Alone. Not only that but K-pop idol Gongchan from the boy group B1A4 plays the second male lead on the show.

What is Unintentional Love Story about?
The webtoon that inspired Unintentional Love Story is written by Pibi and centres around a young man named Won-young and how he becomes attached to Tae-joon. At work, Ji Won-young’s direct superior is fired due to a fake corruption scandal, which ultimately results in him being fired. Desperate to get his job back, Won-young wants to win his boss’ favour by finding his favourite artist – Yoon Tae-joon.
Once Won-young finds Tae-joon, he finally understands that the artist did not want to be found. The two personalities clash as they hang around town. However, unbeknownst to both of them, feelings begin to develop between the two and Won-young starts to question his sexuality, his motivations, and if he even wants to go back to his old life in Seoul.
Where Can I Watch Unintentional Love Story?
The show Unintentional Love Story is a web-based drama and will only be released online. Viewers can watch the show on Viki in most regions. However, do expect some delay between Viki uploading the episodes but although their subtitles are among some of the best on the net across all the other streaming platforms. The show will be available on the streaming platform – iQIYI in multiple countries including the US, Canada, Thailand, and Indonesia among others with a relevant subscription.
Unintentional Love Story Episodes 5 and 6 Release Date
Episodes 5 and 6 of Unintentional Love Story will release globally on Friday 31st March. Both episodes will be released on the same day at noon in Korean time.
Expect the show to have one season at least. Each episode of Unintentional Love Story will have a run time of around 30 minutes. Also, expect episodes to drop with subtitles too.
How Many Episodes Will Unintentional Love Story Have?
It has been revealed that the Korean BL, Unintentional Love Story will have a total of 10 episodes, with two episodes released each week. The show will release both episodes every Friday until April 2023.
Unintentional Love Story is directed by Jang Eui-soon. The show stars Cha Seo-woon as Yoon Tae-joon and B1A4’s Gongchan as Ji Won-young as the two male leads. Actors Han Do-woo, Won Tae-min and In Joon-hyeok will be taking supporting roles on the show as well.
