Two Worlds (Thai Bl) – Episode 10 Recap, Review & Ending Explained

The Finale

The final episode of Two Worlds starts where we left off after Kram jumps into the Moon pond and wakes up by the river in World 1. Kram staggers home, and his father is overjoyed to see him. Kram apologises for disappearing, and father and son have a tearful reunion. Later, Kram tells his father about his adventures in World 2 after accidentally crossing the boundary.

Suddenly, the television announces news about the police raiding Por’s casino, which caught fire, and Por dies inside. The report says Tai escaped the purge and urges the public to report any sightings.

What happens to Tai and Kram in World 1?

Kram looks at his picture of Tai from this world and remembers his encounters with him. Using his memories of Tai from World 2, he looks for the criminal Tai in their love nest. True to his intuition, Kram finds criminal Tai in the cave. His face is half burnt, and he is hurt.

Kram offers him water and medicine, but Tai attacks him. Suddenly, he sees memories of Tai from World 2 asking Kram to join him for the Ash Exchange Ceremony. Kram is afraid of Tai, so he runs out, but he returns to the cave later to bring him food.

Tai is confused as to why Kram is helping him, and Kram tells him the story of meeting his boyfriend Tai after crossing the boundary with the power of the Moon Pond. Kram says he wants to help Tai since he owes him for his help in World 2. However, Tai does not believe Kram’s story. Regardless, Kram continues to nurse Tai back to health inside the cave, bringing him food every other day, changing his clothes and medication, and keeping him company.

Tai realises that Kram has Lumana and understands that the blood vessel fruit can help because his mother died from the same disease. Even though he knows where to find the rare fruit, Tai says he will not help Kram since they are not family.

Kram smiles as he notes the similarities between the two Tais, especially when expressing their feelings. They may look different outside, but their hearts are the same.

Tai starts opening up to Kram about his childhood and his mother, and the conversation drifts to the murder of Kram’s mother. From his interactions with Tai from the other world, Kram is certain that Tai did not kill his mother and asks for a true account of what happened on the fateful day.

Tai and Piak had gone to collect a loan repayment from Kram’s mother, but she did not have the money. Piak suddenly shot Kram’s mother without Tai’s authorisation, so he took the gun from him. When Kram came back, he found Tai holding the gun and his mother bleeding on the floor, which made him assume that Tai had shot his mother. Tai apologises for the incident.

Kram’s Lumana starts acting up again, and he constantly coughs blood. One morning, Tai wakes up to find Kram unconscious beside him with blood coming out of his nose and mouth. Therefore, he ventures out in search of the blood vessel fruit, and the memories of Tai from World 2 guide him to the cliff.

He picks the fruit, rushes back to the cave, and feeds Kram the blood vessel juices. Tai pleads with an unconscious Kram to wake up so he can tell him stories about the other Tai. He says that even though he has never been to the cave, something draws him to it, and he feels it is connected to Kram. In a surprising turn of events, Tai from World 1 dies, and Kram buries him inside the cave.

What happens to Tai and Kram in World 2?

Meanwhile, in World 2, Tai cannot get over the memories of him and Kram. Madam Lu gives him a solution to get him to World 1 without waiting for the Moon Pond to turn blue. At the river bed, under the waters of the moon pond, are black crystals that give the moon pond the power to open the portal between worlds. Therefore, one can travel between worlds using the power of the crystals.

Tai dives into the river, finds the crystals, and travels to World 1, arriving just in time to console Kram for his death in that world. Using the crystals, Tai and Kram travel back to World 2 together. Tai says that the Ash Exchange ceremony means that he will love only Kram in any world and will always find him in any world.

What happens to Wayu, Jao, Phupha and Ren?

Jao and Wayu propose to each other, while Phupha and Ren are married and have a child together.

How does Two Worlds end?

After the final credits, the scene takes us to ten years later. Kram and Tai are still so much in love in World 2, and the episode ends with an intimate scene between them outside their porch as they wait for the food to cook. Since they cannot get enough of each other, Kram has to switch off the stove so as not to burn the food.

The Episode Review

The final episode gives us a befitting conclusion of the story in World 1, although only the characters of Tai and his father are accounted for in this episode. Kram gives Tai a peaceful time in his last moments, and he dies holding onto him. We are unsure how Kram got cured of Lumana, but there is a scene where a snake bites someone’s foot. It is uncertain whether the snake bite caused Tai’s death or his injuries were worsened by the hike up the cliff to look for blood vessel fruit.

Also, the story about the magic black crystals is rushed, and we are unsure how they work. The story with a conclusive finale is that of Tai and Kram, while other subplots and the stories of different characters are conveniently forgotten or rushed.

Therefore, the final episode is satisfactory but partly rushed and dragged simultaneously. The writers spent so much time dragging out scenes between Tai and Kram instead of including the progression of the relationship between the other characters. The ending is anticlimactic and bland. The supporting characters deserve a better ending to their stories.
