Tokyo Vice Season 2 Episode 6 Release Date
Tokyo Vice Season 2 Episode 6 will be released on Thursday, 6th March at 9 pm (ET)/(PT). How Many Episodes Will Tokyo Vice Have?
Tokyo Vice Season 2 will have a total of 10 episodes. This is an increase from the number in the previous season which had 8. After the sixth episode has aired, there will be 4 more episodes left in the series. HBO is not expected to make any scheduling changes. But in case that happens, we will update our readers through these weekly preview articles.
What happened in Episode 5?
Episode 5 of Tokyo Vice’s new season sees various new leads in plot development. Jake is convinced that Tozawa killed Nakahara and is planning on occupying the vacuum in power at the top of the leadership. In order to find out more about what happened to him, Jake breaks into the clinic where Tozawa’s medical records are kept. They reveal that he suffered from “liver disease.” Nagata, Katagiri, and Sato all tell Jake that this disease isn’t curable.
A doctor in Thailand is popular for using blood transfusion to temporarily rid the body of the disease. But this only lasts for six months. Ohno is touched by Samantha’s confession and plans to help her. To save himself from scrutiny, Ohno offers the name of the station where the shopping complex will come up. Samantha asks Jake to make it public as it would negate the flow of any news.
Jake gives the tip to Tin Tin, who makes a hash of it and the news is officially announced by the ministry. Ishida is offered s consolation by Ohno and Samantha, but he is due to accept it. Sato comes clean about what really happened with Ota, which Ishida appreciates. He touts Sato as the future leader of Chihara-kai instead of Hayama.
There is a rift between Kazuko and Tozawa over Nakahara’s killing. He was the brother-in-law of Kazuko’s father and played a pivotal role in building up the organisation. However, there is no stopping Tozawa from confirming his status as the new kingpin when he announces his new plans in the meeting of the bosses. He says that the bosses will now become shareholders of his corporation and receive the money in the form of dividends. The episode ends with a sensational shootout at Club Polina where Ishida and Ohno are killed by two unknown assailants.
