Based on the web novel Hei Yue Guang Na Wen BE Ju Ben by Teng Luo Wei Zhi, Till the End of the Moon is the latest fantasy Chinese drama to grace our screens. This wuxia show is your quintessential enemies-to-lovers romance complete with hidden identities in a world of cultivators and demons. 

Worried about the increase in demons wreaking havoc and looking to end the immortal world, the elders come up with a mission to go back in time and stop the creation of the demon lord who is responsible. Li Susu takes it upon herself to stop the demon lord by taking on the identity of the future demon’s mortal wife, Ye Xiwu. But the man she has promised to destroy is the complicated and charming prince, Tantai Jin.

Where Can I Watch Till the End of the Moon?

Till the End of the Moon is available to stream on Youku, Viki, LeTV, LINE TV and Sohu TV and is set up as full episodes, so there’s no messing about with different parts on YouTube. However, do note that you’ll need a VIP account with Viki in order to access the later (and more recently released) episodes with this one. It is also available on Netflix now with 8 episodes dropping every Saturday till 3rd June.

Till the End of the Moon Episode Release Dates

Till the End of the Moon is a Chinese drama and as such, the episode release dates are a little different to those released in other Asian regions. We’ll detail that more below but do note that the subtitle team are pretty quick on Youku and Viki, with English subtitles available from release. 

Expect each episode to be roughly 1 hour long. Till the End of the Moon’s finale, episodes 39 and 40 respectively, will air on May 9th.

How Many Episodes Will Till the End of the Moon Have?

Till the End of the Moon is a 40-episode Chinese drama, which is pretty average as most of these shows have between 35 and 50-episode runs. After dropping the first 6 episodes at once on Thursday 6th April, 2 episodes were released every day till 11th April. The remaining episode schedule sees 1 new episode dropping every Sunday to Thursday (with 2 episodes on Tuesdays). 

The episodes are released at 10am (GMT) / 6pm (SGT) / 3am (PT). Expect Youku to be first off the mark for dropping these on their website!

  2. Hey, they have suddenly hidden all the episodes on YouTube and there is a delay on VIKI not sure why, but episode 15 is officially out on LINE TV and Youku… you will need a VIP pass though 🙁

  3. Love love love this drama! Bai Lu and Luo Yun Xi are giving great performances as the main leads in this show. Shout out to Ding Wei too. It’s good to see him in more things since his success with Miss The Dragon. The costumes and hair have been really great. I don’t have much negative to say, some of the CG and voice over timing could be better in some spots, but it’s not bad enough to take you out of the story. You’re still fully immersed in their world. Bravo! Looking forward to more greatness from this show.
