Three Women – Season 1 Episode 3 Recap & Review

Sloane

Three Women Episode 3 shines a light on Sloane. From a young age, Sloane has had a love-hate relationship with her mom. Sloane’s mom has always found a way to put her down. Currently, Sloan has an impromptu lunch date with her mom, Diane. As always, Diane called with no prior warning and insisted on meeting for lunch.

According to Gia, she thinks people hate Sloan because she is a woman who has it all. She is beautiful, rich, and has a stable marriage to a successful man. Gia thinks people still have a problem when a woman gets everything she wants. Gia and Sloan first meet thanks to Allie, a friend of Sloane. At first, Sloan is unhappy that Allie told a stranger about her.

Back to the lunch with Diana, Sloane coincidentally runs into Will. He is on his way to deliver a boat to one of his clients. Sloane is surprised and impressed that he builds boats. As expected, lunch with her mom is tense. Diane takes offence to the fact that Sloane didn’t bring Sophie.

She is also not impressed when Sloane suggests she retires. There is also the fact that Diane isn’t supportive of Sloane’s business. By the end of lunch, the two women argue over Sophie’s upbringing. It seems like Diane is concerned about Sloane’s parenting skills. After lunch, Sloane can’t help but curse and sigh. Her heels end up getting stuck, and a woman comes to her rescue.

Sloane gets home and finds that her mom already dropped by and picked Sophie up without her consent. Richard thought Sloane knew and asks her not to take her anger out on him. Sloane volunteers to pick Sophie up at the dock in an hour.

The next day, Sloane takes one of their broken, expensive boat figurines to Will and asks for his help to fix it. He promises to try, as he is excited to take on a new challenge.

On the other hand, Will asks to introduce Sloane to a new flower vendor. Sloane agrees to meet with the vendor before deciding. As Will works on the figurine, Sloane gets into a mini-argument with Richard when she reveals she asked Will to fix the little boat. In the end, Richard agrees it is a non-issue and they move on.

In a surprising twist, the new vendor turns out to be Lily, the woman who helped Sloane after her heel broke the other day. Sloane and Lily quickly vibe over weed and flowers. They also bond over their strained relationships with their mom. Sloane agrees to hire Lily but immediately regrets it when she mentions she is Will’s girlfriend. Sloane finds herself in a dilemma since she likes Will but also thinks Lily is cool and doesn’t want to hurt her.

A few days later, Will drops by and returns the little boat to Sloane. He refuses to accept his payment, and Sloane thanks him for recommending Lily. The two start flirting and they end up kissing. At this point, they can’t deny they are attracted to each other, but Will doesn’t want to complicate their professional relationship.

Richard spots Will leaving and tries to act calm. He confronts Sloane, and she admits that she wants Will. Richard reminds her of the rules, but Sloane is happy to change them if Richard is uncomfortable. Richard feels uncomfortable mixing work with pleasure and asks Sloane to drop it. He says he gives her a lot already. She can let this one thing go.

Later, Sloane meets with Allie and laments about not having Will. Allie advises Sloane to keep her boundaries from Will and makes her promise she won’t cause problems. Allie is also concerned about Lily.

In the end, Sloane ignores Allie’s advice and continues to get close to Lily. Lily shares her relationship issues with Will, and Sloane tries to be supportive. It turns out that Will has been distant lately after Lily gave him an ultimatum to figure out what he wants after dating for two years.

Meanwhile, to make up for denying Will, Richard invites their friends Kira and Isaac. Sloane is taken aback since the rules state they have to both agree first. Still, she gets ready and decides to enjoy the night since Sophie is away. Their little rendezvous starts well and things get all hot and heavy within a few minutes.

Sloane starts making out with Kira before having sex with Isaac. Richard takes Kira and they start having sex. However, things take a turn when Sloane realises that Isaac is not wearing a condom. They quickly kick the couple out and start fighting. Sloane blames Richard for talking her into meeting Kira and Isaac.

He argues that he doesn’t enjoy watching her sleep with another man and only does it to keep her happy. Sloane assures him that no other man comes first to her. She finds it pathetic that Richard feels threatened by Will and asks him to trust her.

A few days later, Sloane meets with Will and they have a picnic at the beach. This time, they talk about their families and the upcoming Christmas celebration. It seems both of them are trying to avoid their families. Unfortunately, Sloane can’t avoid her family.

At the intimate family Christmas Party, her family acts like Richard is the best thing that happened to her. They credit him for her success and Sloane gets pissed. She excuses herself and asks Richard for some space.

She leaves the house and heads to Will’s boat. The two have a great time discussing their problems. Will gets turned on and Sloane watches him as he masturbates until he climaxes. She drives home in a better mood and Richard, something is off.

At first, she lies to him but then tells him she met Will but nothing happened. She assures him she is done with Will and he believes her. He thinks they will be fine as long as they are honest.

The Episode Review

Sloane is playing a dangerous game, and she will get hurt. Richard has been clear that he doesn’t want her to get close to Will. He also doesn’t want Wil to be one of her random lovers, either. However, Sloane can’t stop thinking about Will.

I mean, he is a fine man and we get it, but she is married and her husband has expressed his decision about this. If she moves forward and continues to seduce Will, Richard will get hurt. She asks Richard to trust her, but then she goes and flirts with Will behind his back.

Already, Richard feels threatened by Will. If he finds out that Sloane is still pinning for him, it will break his heart and their marriage. On the other hand, Will is in a relationship with Lily, who happens to be Sloane’s new decor manager. This has messy written all over it!

We will grab our popcorn and watch this train wreck because Sloane will make it a worthy watch.
