The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 Episode 5 Preview: Release Date, Time & Where To Watch

The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 Episode 5

Ireland has been a consistent producer of good TV shows and movies over the last few years. Its promising lineup continues with yet another mystery thriller in the form of The Vanishing Triangle.

Ivan Kavanagh is credited with developing the story and is the showrunner for Season 1. The six-part series has already had its three-episode premiere at the Sundance Festival, opening to a rousing response.

The show’s core plotline is derived from Irish pop culture. It refers to the period in the late 80s and 90s when Ireland witnessed a disturbing growth in the disappearance of Irish women in certain regions of the country. The show promises to focus on a firm character study through Lisa Wallace and Detective David Burkley.

Here is everything you need to know about The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 Episode 5, including its release date, time, and where you can watch this.

How Many Episodes Will The Vanishing Triangle Have?

The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 will run for a total of 6 episodes. So, after episode 5, we will have another episode to go that will serve as the finale for the miniseries.

What happened in Episode 4?

Episode 4 of The Vanishing Triangle sees the discovery of Sinead Clarke at her house. Mary’s abduction brings Frances to Rathkilly where the two women make a televised appeal. This is broadcast to the entire nation, including the facility where Chris is imprisoned. He overhears someone called Evans boasting of having had intercourse with Mandy.

He physically beats Evans to get an address out of him. Chris later hands it over to Lisa, who follows the lead of Billy Miller to a dead end since he expired a few weeks ago. Burkley has sent Tommy away to London to a friend. They will have to think about their situation after the smoke dies down with these murder investigations.

Lisa has a narrow escape from the brothel where Chris sent her. But she does manage to steal vital evidence that ties DS Gough from the local force to Mandy and the establishment. Lisa dreads the clock hitting five and her having to make the impossible choice. However, in an anticlimactic end, the killer calls Lisa a “liar” for involving the police and cuts the call before she can answer.

The episode ends as the killer breaks into Lisa’s hotel, murders the guard stationed outside her room, and forces an answer out of her….although it is unknown at the moment if he acts on it or not.
