It refers to the period in the late 80s and 90s when Ireland witnessed a disturbing growth in the disappearance of Irish women in certain regions of the country. The show promises to focus on a firm character study through Lisa Wallace and Detective David Burkley.

Where Can I Watch The Vanishing Triangle?
The Vanishing Triangle will be broadcast on AMC’s SundanceTV for our viewers in the US and Canada. It will also be available to watch on AMC+ for the subscribers. The show’s distributor Echo Rights has also signed pre-sale deals with several broadcasters and streamers to give the show a global platform. Acorn TV has secured the UK premiere, as well as licensing the series for several other territories.
SBS has picked up Australian rights, and the series is also sold across the Nordics with SVT (Sweden), DR (Denmark), NRK (Norway), and YLE (Finland) also licensing the title, while VRT will air the series in Belgium.
The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 Episode 4 Release Date
The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 Episode 4 will be released on Thursday, November 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Expect the runtime to be roughly 48 minutes for the third episode, which we expect to remain the same for Season 1. The new episode does not have a specific title as such. It will be available to watch with subtitles on.
The summary for episode 4’s plot reads:
“Lisa has to choose who to save: Susan or Mandy? Chris learns new information that takes Lisa to a strange address, where she discovers incriminating information that someone is trying to cover up. The killer calls later that evening for Lisa’s decision.”
How Many Episodes Will The Vanishing Triangle Have?
The Vanishing Triangle Season 1 will run for a total of 6 episodes. So, after episode 4, we will have another 2 episodes to go that will follow a weekly release schedule, subject to any changes the distributors might make in between. Since there are so many platforms hosting the show, we do not expect there to be any major scheduling interruptions.
What happened in Episode 3?
Episode 3 of The Vanishing Triangle foreshadows another abduction as the killer zeroes in on a young high-school girl, Mandy. Teresa expresses her gratefulness to Lisa for saving her life. But she falls short of being a witness against Bulger, something that might see him go free. However, Brennan’s sharp police work ensures that they still have a defining chance to nail him for the abduction.
With this, the possibility of him having killed Janice or kidnapped Amy is also extinguished. Lisa and the police must chase another lead to get anywhere close to figuring it out. On Chief Gill’s instructions, the local Garda in Castle Moy clamped down on male escorts to identify the specific cop. Tommy, an escort with whom Burkley had an encounter, goes to him for help.
Burkley does not turn him away and spends time with him, showcasing their close bond. Even though Burkley wants to honour his obligations to Mary and Rachel, he is very much in love with him. The killer kidnaps Mandy and forces her to lure Susan into his trap. The episode ends with an impossible task for Lisa. She is asked by the killer to choose one between Susan and Mandy.
