The Secret Romantic Guesthouse is a historical mystery romance that follows the life of Yoon Dan-oh, a woman who has enjoyed a comfortable life as the beloved youngest daughter of a well-off family. However, she is no longer well-off and has become the sole family breadwinner.
She runs the Ihwawon Inn and her current guests are scholars taking the civil service entrance exam in the hopes of becoming high-ranking officials. Among them are Kang San, Kim Si-yeol, and Jeong Yoo-ha, who all have deep secrets. Together, the scholars and Dan-oh will share information and cooperate to find someone who disappeared 13 years ago.
Where Can I Watch The Secret Romantic Guesthouse?
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse is an SBS Original and will be available to watch there for those in South Korea. For those watching internationally, it will be available on Viki in most regions. Residents from Asia can also find the show released on the streaming platform Viu as well.
However, do expect some delay between Viki uploading the episodes after their initial run in Korea, although the subtitles are among some of the best on the net across all the other streaming platforms. The network Viu will have comparatively less time delay in uploading the episodes after its release.
The Secret Romantic Guesthouse Episode 1 Release Date
Episode 1 of The Secret Romantic Guesthouse will release globally on Monday 20th March at 10:o0pm (KST) / 5:00 am (PT)/ 8:00am (ET).
Expect the show to have one season with 18 episodes. Each episode of The Secret Romantic Guesthouse will have a run time of around 50-60 minutes. Also, expect episodes to drop with subtitles too.
How Many Episodes Will The Secret Romantic Guesthouse Have?
It has been revealed that the K-drama, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse will have a total of 18 episodes, unlike the usual 16-episode format. The show will also be releasing two episodes each week with new episodes dropping every Monday and Tuesday until May 2023.
The show stars Shin Ye-eun as Yoon Dan-oh, the owner of the guesthouse. Actors Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun-joo will play scholars Kang San, Kim Shi-yeol and Jung Yoo-ha respectively.
