The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy Episode 5 begins with Sleech and Klak seeking Vlam’s help to determine who will be the next temporary chief surgeon.
When the day arrives, Sleech uses her tactics to get appointed as the temporary chief surgeon. They begin patrolling the hospital. She eventually begins to make out with Plowp. A black hole accident occurs and floods the hospital with patients.
The staff is overwhelmed by the number of patients and works incredibly hard. Sleech ends up getting frustrated and feels the rest of the staff are only a hindrance. She does her best with Vlam but is not able to handle the workload.

Sleech uses a machine to extract a piece of glass from a patient, but he ends up dying. Klak and Zypha continue to do a fabulous job while also keeping each other company. Vlam also calls the other doctors to help. Sleech tries her best to revive the patient, but it is too late. Plowp tries to get her to come to terms with what happened, but she refuses any support and makes him leave.
She returns and works under the orders of the other doctors. Matt arrives after collecting all of Vorg’s body. Klak and Zypha get close, but Klak expresses her intention of not getting into a relationship due to her reasons.

Returning to her room with Klak, they notice Larwin going into labor. Larwin’s abdomen eventually explodes, giving birth to another one. They then keep Larwin’s body in a morgue, but there is some movement after they leave at the end of The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy Episode 5.
The Episode Review
The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy Episode 5 further brings a lot of character development and also shifts to a morally better stance. This episode portrays how Sheech’s confidence can be a good attribute but also how it can be dangerous and harmful at times.
Arguably, Flork is a great metaphorical representation of an excellent manager, and this is also represented in this episode. The 2-headed alien has a rather extremely stern side and also a very lenient one, and the two balance each other out.
Klak finally seems to have found someone who is on the same wavelength, but Klak isn’t ready for a relationship having come out of one so recently. The decision seems to be wise, but healthy people are rare so this could be a missed golden opportunity.
