In March 2022, ABC renewed the series for a fifth season and announced a spin-off of the show that will have an FBI focus starring Niecy Nash. The fifth season of the Rookie is expected to have 20 episodes.

In the last episode, Nolan tried his best to make Bailey feel more comfortable in his home. Chen went undercover in a female gang to help Harper and Lopez with their case. Elijah found a way to make Wesley publicly apologize to him.

  1. I absolutely love the Rookie. Nolan by far is my favorite. I had actually stopped watching cop shows due to the general lack of Quality of content the Characters were unrealistic as well. The Rookie Brought me back. I find myself wanting more. Thank you

  2. What a joke, they stop the one show that people actually watch so that irrelevant people can have their moment of fame again because they are becoming nothing but a past memory.
