  1. forgot to mention

    – identifying when Nolan in station wagon entered parking lot using CCTV traffic cam footage
    – identifying all possible exiting vehicles between entry and discovery of abandoned wagon.,possible (partial) route tracking of van via cctv footage before Nolan saves them the trouble and calls in.

  2. The writing for this episode hit a new low.

House not being cleared by bomb squad for possible explosives to take out everyone, given multiple targets of value other than Nolan on-site.
No one determining how camera feed getting out of house and how it might be compromised.
Firefighters who didn’t know how to deal with potassium and water mixing.
No one thinking to cut a smaller hole in the mesh to drop an air tank through, she could’ve sat at the bottom of the water, protected by it for 30+ mins per tank while they faffed about getting her out.. 2 cutters faster on opposite sides of the square.
2 ordinary cops going into the basement without checking the floor for pressure plates, other motion or heat detectors and not confirming that there weren’t cameras watching the space. If you are going to barge in then where were the cutting tools to breach the tank, thermal lance anyone, which would require a qualified operator i.e. fire crew not cop?
The firecrew would also likely use a circular saw on the glass/perspex rather than the tank wall.
Letting the ignorant cop Tim use the wrong side of the axe to puncture the tank, A fireman would know to use the pick first.
Entry into the trap builder’s building without watching for pressure plates and trip wires. Not communicating between the 2 entry teams during search,
Nolan not checking the gun for a live round, in case it was a hoax or he needed more than one round to save his own life from a follow-on betrayal kill.
There is no jeopardy for Nolan if he kills the idiot if she is the direct threat to Bailey’s life, it would not be murder.
Nolan not just staying in the house where he could secure her from any suicide attempt or an accomplice outside trying to come free her.
He not knowing she was alive before she arrived.

I swear the abysmal tactical movement is getting worse.
